2011 Schedules

With 31 teams left to complete 2010 schedules in the coming weeks I will begin to start piecing together the fragments and in some cases large pieces of 2011 schedules. If anyone has available information you can post it here and I will get it going in about a week to 10 days. Once I start putting it together I will let Chris now so he can add the 2011 section to the schedules page.

Also since there wont be much work to do on 2011 this early I will also take available data for seasons beyond as well, though I dont know when 2012 and beyond will show up on the schedules section.

I know 9 of 11 games we will play, just not the order. I had a site bookmarked that showed preliminary info but it seems to have disappeared. (it's always not available)

Don't think that's right. I believe the last 2 games of the SDSU series were squashed, they're definitely not going to Brookings. Navy kicking off 2011 is correct though.

I don't have anything from a Delaware source, but the SDSU 09' Media Guide listed the 2010 game @ Delaware, plus the above. West Chester has published the 2011 @ Delaware game date and the 2012 Delaware State game can be confirmed thru the News Journal stories. If I'm wrong I'm wrong, but there are my sources. Hence, more than the Navy game is correct.

Home: South Dakota, Southern Utah and Eastern Washington

Away: Montana, UC Davis, North Dakota, San Diego State, Northern Illinois

Delaware State 2011:

Sept 24 - @ Indiana

*Being that the MEAC is adding NCCU and potentially SSU to the conference in 2011, I would suspect that we will see both schools on our schedule (SSU as a OOC) unless there is a divisional split.

Delaware State 2012:

Sept 7 - @ Delaware (taking West Chester's spot)

*Savannah State will gain full membership on Sept 1, 2011 if they can meet their benchmarks set by the MEAC office. It will be too late to be added as counters to the 2011 schedule but should be on the 2012's. Expecting a divisional split to be announced sometime this summer.

The game at Ohio U. is on 9/10/11, that has been pretty much concrete since we signed the deal with them a couple of years ago.

The best guess on the Wake game would be the week before or after that one at this point.

I'm pretty sure the Old Dominion game in Norfolk this fall is the away part of a home and home, with ODU coming to Boiling Springs in 2011.

This was from a Delaware online article. The link for it no longer works, but it was from early Novermber 09. I haven't heard anything since this though.

"Delaware is expected to announce after the season it has reached an agreement with South Dakota State to cancel their scheduled games in 2011 (there) and 2012 (here). They'll still play here Sept. 11, 2010. Delaware has not filled those dates, but Delaware State is the most likely foe for the 2011 opening. ... Delaware has told Pittsburgh it is not interested in a 2014 game proposed by the Big East's Panthers. Keeler's preferred policy is playing I-AA schools at home in future nonconference games, though Navy is on the 2011 schedule and perhaps 2013"

Yup, the UD/SDSU series is now just a one game, 2010 affair only. The 2011 and 2012 dates were cancelled.
