NO DIV 1-AA TEAMS ON NCAA FOOTBALL '09??
There are no d1aa teams on ncaa football 09. i dont understand why either. im tired of being left out. app state beat michigan so they should definatly be in there, montana state beat colorado. lots of 1a teams play 1aa school but the just have "1aa southwest".
its not like it was great when they did put the 1aa teams on there but they had the rosters, logos, and conferences correct. the only thing that bugged me was that they did NOT have the stadiums, only a generic one based one the stated capacity.
somebody please tell me whats up wit that??!!

Welcome to complaints from two-and-a-half months ago.
The 360/PS3 version doesn't even have all the FBS stadiums, so what made you think they'd even "bother" to put the FCS teams in? EA has really been slacking on NCAA Football recently. The old gen versions are still better than the new gen versions & they've been working on the new gen versions for 3+ years.
(BTW, the PS2/Wii version of NCAA '09 has about 60% of the FCS teams just like previous years).

Of course not. Now that EA has a monopoly on NCAA football, they will just barely add new features each year so its "new".

Where did you hear that? Everything I read said that no FCS teams were included on any of the systems. If Montana is included in one of the versions, I would buy. I was actually really stoked for its release and then when I heard the news, decided to go with Madden (again : P) because I could care less for FBS (f-ing bull****) football where the players could care less as long as they get to the NFL and the big bucks.Mvemjsunpx wrote: (BTW, the PS2/Wii version of NCAA '09 has about 60% of the FCS teams just like previous years).
Incidentally, Montana outsells over half of the FBS teams with its merchandise sales (something like 50th-ish out of all the divisions), so EA can't tell me there wouldn't be a market for FCS teams when they include the Idahos, Wyomings, and the Temples of FBS. I'm sure there are a lot of App St., Delaware, Georgia Southern, Northern Iowa, James Madison, North Dakota St., etc. fans out there too that would support their team. And you know OSU fans would be bragging it up as game of the year if they got to relive App St.-Michigan again.

I rented the PS2 version so I know it does. I believe the Wii version is just a port of the PS2 version, so it should too. Montana is in there & has been since NCAA '04. There's no FCS season mode of course, but you can replace FBS teams w/ FCS teams just like previous installments.

I HAVE THE PS3 VERSION AND IM THINKING ABOUT RENTING THE PS2 VERSION TO DO THE REPLACEMENT THING AND PLAY WITH THE BIG SKY TEAMS. BUT I HAVE 2 QUESTIONS;
CAN U PLAY ONLINE?
DO THEY STILL ONLY HAVE THE 3 BASIC STADIUMS/GENERIC STADIUMS, FOR THE 1-AA TEAMS?

Yes, if you have the network adaptor. I've never played it online, so I don't know the specifics beyond that.BlackFalkin wrote: CAN U PLAY ONLINE?

Re: NO DIV 1-AA TEAMS ON NCAA FOOTBALL '09??
some games allow 3rd party apps, why not these types of games? or at least make it to where we can design a custom stadium and assign it to the school.
AND a custom jersey fuction so we can design the alternate jerseys. DAMN they dropped the ball on the ps3 version.
