jon, right now my wife and I are looking for our "final" home...a place to go when I retire from this retirement job...

Western Massachusetts (around Amherst) and Delaware are two of the top four spots on our list...

So, from the wife and I to you...

KMA.....

UMass wins the game...more on why as the week progresses...

On a day the offense sputtered...Josh Jennings and the rest of the defense comes up big...

Next week at Northeastern, we bring everything together (I hope)

Coen had a really off day with 4 picks (three his fault entirely...one on a tip that his receiver should have caught)...the running game was big, but everytime we got in the red zone, Delaware intercepted...

But Jennings lived in the UD backfield, constantly harrassing Schoenhof and the RBs...he was in on 16 tackles, including 3 solos...

one other great note...attendance continues to climb...16,422...

I caught the second half of this game. It was 7-7 at halftime, but UD was ahead in the turnover battle 3-0, a bad sign - you should be winning if you're +3 in turnovers.
UMass pretty much dominated the second half defensively. UD offense could not do anything. UD couldn't run, and when they tried to pass UMass' Josh Jennings hurried the QB. On the occasions that Schoenhoft did have time to pass, nobody was open.
Nice win for UMass.
