Ryne Holstrom and the rest of NAU's offensive line knew it was just a matter of time before they started to click as a unit.
During the first three games of the season, the Jacks were forced to keep shuffling their starters on the line because of injuries and suspensions and didn't have the same starting lineup in any of the three games. Now, with junior center Kevin Meagher back from a three-game suspension and Holstrom back after a one-game suspension, the line has had the same five starters for the last three games and the rest of the offense is reaping the benefits.
"We had a lot of different guys in the mix in the beginning but over the last couple of games, we've got to a solid five," Holstrom said. "I think our chemistry is really kicking in. The last two games have been great. We haven't given up any sacks and the chemistry has improved since the beginning of the season."
