    Worst Performance: Sacramento St. 7, (#8) Montana 43 - The Hornets fail to show up for the second straight game & fall to 0-14 all-time against the Griz.

    Most Surprising Result: Eastern Washington 34, Montana St. 17 - Despite an unremarkable offensive performance, the Eagles show they haven't packed it in quite yet.

    Most Surprising Result: Sam Houston St. 17, (#12) McNeese St. 28 - The potent Bearkat offense only manages 269 yards at home against a defense that was giving up 393 coming in.

    Most Surprising Result: Youngstown St. 0, (#16) Southern Illinois 33 - The Penguins have been one of the best programs in I-AA/FCS since JIm Tressel's arrival in the late eighties. Is what we're seeing this season a brutal end to that run?

    Most Surprising Result: Lafayette 35, (#14) Liberty 21 - The Patriot League doesn't look quite so bad anymore.

    Worst Performance: North Dakota 42, (DII) Western Washington 32 - Like Eastern Washington, the Sioux gave up a ton of passing yards to QB Adam Perry, but Josh Murray's 219 yards rushing and 2 TDs kept the Vikings at bay.

    Most Surprising Result: Mississippi Valley St. 22, Savannah St. 20 - Yeah, it's just Savannah State, but this is the SWAC's first DI non-conference win of the season.

    Most Surprising Result: Jacksonville 40, Morehead St. 9 - The Dolphins have looked like a completely different team since the bye week largely thanks to the performance of QB Josh McGregor, who has amassed a 218.3 efficiency rating over that two-game span (including 6 TD passes in this game).

    Most Surprising Result: Savannah St. 20, Mississippi Valley St. 22 - After scoring a go-ahead TD with 36 seconds remaining, the Tigers snatch defeat from the jaws of victory by allowing MVSU to score the game-winner with just 5 seconds left.
