I'm not going to discuss ad nauseum the pros and cons...the reason it's been so quiet probably is we have a pretty healthy(one might even say cordial) debate going on http://www.sdfsufans.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Another reason is we don't kick down doors and say "OH $%%^^& the Blue Hens! We're gonna cause them to be sterile for the next 3 generations!!!!!"
There's two types of fans I can't stand: Fans who don't respect other fans' opinions and UNI Fans.

I honestly don't know what to expect from this game.

Last year the Jacks were a damn good football team and the Hens were a mediocre team at best. This year's Delaware squad looks to be improved, but by how much? The o-line will have to improve significantly for UD to be an upper tier team this year.

SDSU had to fill a couple holes on their o-line, how much of a step back will that be, if any? How much of a factor will the Rabbits banged up secondary be?

Too many "ifs" to make any kind of sound prediction - this game could go either way.

At home against a program who has only played in front of such a large crowd a few times, losing some very key players from last year's playoff team, going up against the best UD team since going to the Championship Game in 2007, and of course trying to defend the top FCS pre-season pick for the next NFL draft day at the QB position, has mitigated the media hype of this game to many Blue Hen Fanatics.

Hen Fans will not really know how good the 2010 Hens are until the fourth game against their first CAA opponent of the season, Richmond.

I think I know where he is coming from though. You guys are an OOC opponent that are not well known to most UD fans. UD hasn't been a great team for the last few years. I, for one, have a lot of questions about this years UD team and a win or a loss tomorrow isn't going to answer many of those questions.

I also think that this game would generate a lot more discussion if it were happening later in the season.
