Is Richmond's season over?

Post by jrj1976urspider »

It was bad enough that UR was shut out at Durham, N.H. this afternoon 0-17. Richmond is now 0-2 in the CAA. Corp is most likely lost for the rest of this season. We are probably looking at a 2-9 season while going winless in conference play. Looks to be a "sad" season. At least it won't be a repeat of 1979 and 1982 when the Spiders went winless both years.

You're conceding to Towson already?

All games are still winnable. Play the freshman QB, redshirt him next year.

I predict wins v. Towson, URI, and one upset of a CAA "playoff" team.

I thought they would have trouble just based on the sheer number of turnover from last year, but now that Corp is gone, Richmond's toast.

It'll be a miracle if they finish 6-5. I can see them very easily being 4-7 or 3-8.
