:o I didn't say that, but now that you mention it..

It looked pretty empty on TV last Saturday. Was that just an attempt to "accentuate" the alluminum?
Just goes to show that the race to 25,000 will be a marathon, not a sprint.

You mean the race you guys already dropped out of? (not that I don't disagree with the sentiment for us... )

You know, I don't have nearly as much of a problem with RU as a lot of other JMU fans seem to have. My wife, for whatever reason, cannot stand RU, and she's not a big sports fan. I've always enjoyed the games with them and at first I found the new posters after RU's '08 NC annoying (like most other schools), but the ones that have stuck around are cool, for the most part (like most other schools).

MRD's excluded, I generally with your sentiments.

We should agree to hate each other this week though. That way we can create some artificial interest in a Pillow Fight between 2 mediocre ball clubs.

Please send a few MRD's over here so I can throw a proverbial water bottle or two at them.

This is about as good as I can come up with...you're tossing fingers, while I'm tossing spooge. In terms of winner vs. loser, I think the spooge recipient would be considered the loser.

Dude, I'm an old sweater vest, look how quickly I can escape your assault: :grizo2:

Were you on the field for the purported firefight in 2006?

I thought that was the shooting craps emoticon.

Hopefully each team has enough players to play on Saturday. There's at least a bit of meaning left for this game, its a "loser goes home" game in terms of playoff hopes.

No, I haven't been on that field since 1997. Not legally anyways.

And I think I saw you walking around Saturday, but I had my hands full with a couple of kids (mine, thank you very much).

Yea, the only meaning for this game is that the loser can just mail it in the rest of the way. The winner has to pretend like they can beat W&M.

What you can't even throw your kid at me to get my attention? What kind of pussy are you?! How much can your kids possibly weigh?

We snuck in alot of bourbon in some baby bottles. Not like we needed to sneak it in though, as I had no idea they wouldn't even look in our diaper bag. The woman said "Oh no, child, I don't touch them diaper bags. Too many bottles." So I got pretty hammered. Surprise!!!

How many regal bulldog fans will be making it to the matchbox this weekend?

Is there going to be extra security provided for the skirmishes?

Will the JMU safety patrol and the MRD's brass section 'be muted' by the size of the stadium and the 8 legged yuppies' diabolical plans to keep them out?

How will the Rubix cube brigade at the UR tailgate respond to the # of PBR cans left in their lovely parking by the 'slower' Dookie fans?

These and many more questions to be answered this weekend at, 'The Old Dominion's Hottest Peanut Boil'....

The hate continues...final score Richmond 13 JMU 10 (ot). I love it! :thumb: Guess the Barneys are not feeling too well tonight! Mickey probably left our "Little Stadium" (his reference to our new venue) with a huge headache! I love it when UR beats the Barneys! I really hate JMU!

You gotta love Mickey. At least he's always able to deflect all of the attention/blame away from the actual game that was played.

http://www.richmondspiders.com/sports/m ... 10aab.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The good play of JMU defense:
"We got some turnovers. The game came down to that one holding call at the end. The call was bigger than big. That one call decided the game. I don't know if I've seen that in my 35 years as a coach. The holding call was huge. If you're wearing red, it was a great call. If you're wearing purple it was a horrible call.

The feeling of disappointment after the loss:
"I'm crushed. I'm upset with the call with three minutes left in the game. Their defense played great, but that was so big of a call, I don't know if I've ever seen a call as big as that one was, that was a huge call. Richmond's kids played hard. Both groups of kids played very hard. Both [Donte] Boston and [John] Laub played well."

The call was obvious. TV announcers agreed.

Mickey has "never seen as big a call in my ----- years of coaching" pretty much every game JMU has lost by one score or less.

Besides, even if the holding wasn't called, he'd have 1st and 10 at the 25 in a tied game. How'd they do with that scenario in overtime?
