One thing you can seem to count on in the GSU-ASU game lately is that the final score will be a poor indicator of who is better and by how much. 2003 was probably the last time that wasn't true. App. State did light up Samford and Furman who are probably just as good as GSU on defense and on the other hand Wofford and Chatty's offenses had their way with GSU's defense.
Hate to say it, but GSU will probably still get derailed by the Furples.

I think PWNs has it.....it's such a rivalry game, home field, homecoming....lots of factors aside from the quality of play that decided this game.
As an aside, I'm curious from the GSU guys how we match up with WoCo, etc.
Just got back to Atlanta from Statesboro. Good football game and a great win for the Eagles. Except for the outcome, really enjoyed our visit to Paulson. Great atmosphere, great weather, and great fans on both sides. See ya Eagles at The Rock next year.

Defensively, Wofford is like GSU. Tough up front, so-so in the secondary. I'd look for them to use a defensive strategy similar to what we did.
On offense, Wofford is a good bit better all-around than GSU on offense. Smoother execution, and their OL is really good, probably the best in the SoCon. Breitenstein will be a problem for ASU.
