Careful what you wish for. Nova will be in the playoffs now. If they get healthy they will be very tough to stop.Screamin_Eagle174 wrote:![]()

If Montana St wins today don't they get the Big Sky Autobid? Don't be shocked if the committee seeds the Bobcats ahead of EWU.

Btw, Pat Devlin may still have a chance to get rid of the goose egg. I'd love another crack at Nova without spotting you a 14 point lead early.

Haven't read any of this thread as I just got done watching the game (the numb nuts at CSN went to the UR @ W&M game right after the 1st play of OT), but congrats Nova and wow, it would have been a travesty if UD had won.
-2nd qtr replay on the one play showed:
Nova clearly intercepted the ball in the endzone and the ref blew it by ruling incomplete.
Also should have called UD for 15 when Maldonado got his helmet ripped off his head on the same play and had to leave the game.
UD scores 2 plays later and Nova is without their best DB.
-3rd qtr replay clearly showed that Pierce fumbled at the UD 14 and the refs completely blew the call by saying his forward progress had stopped (it hadn't). That blown call likely cost Nova 3-7 points.
Commentators were still talking about those blown calls in the 4th qtr. If it wasn't for the piss poor refereeing it would have been Nova 24/28 to 14 in regulation.

Yeah, but we'd have got a touchdown back on all the missed holding calls. I guess it all depends on what you wanted to see.BDKJMU wrote:Haven't read any of this thread as I just got done watching the game (the numb nuts at CSN went to the UR @ W&M game right after the 1st play of OT), but congrats Nova and wow, it would have been a travesty if UD had won.

Missed holding calls (there's varying degrees of holding on about every play) isn't as blatant as missed turnover calls and a guy getting knocked out the game by having his helmet ripped off.93henfan wrote:Yeah, but we'd have got a touchdown back on all the missed holding calls. I disagree. Nova held, got the ball back and scored on their next possession. All that call did was to delay Nova's next TD.BDKJMU wrote:Haven't read any of this thread as I just got done watching the game (the numb nuts at CSN went to the UR @ W&M game right after the 1st play of OT), but congrats Nova and wow, it would have been a travesty if UD had won.
