A quarterfinal game in 2000 only got 16k people (probably closer to 20k, but underreported and all). I'm not worried about this game selling out either.jd of de wrote:TheTub should be a sellout now. Just wish it was ALL Hen fans.

Re: Welcome Back to the Tub, Lehigh!
Lee-High has got blown away by the 2 CAA teams they played so far.
Any reason to see this one otherwise? Just hope our WR's have hit their quota on drops.

Re: Welcome Back to the Tub, Lehigh!
Is your running game not good enough to beat Lehigh if the passing game isn't up to snuff? The way you CAA types have been bragging the last few seasons, you could beat any team short of the B(C)$ with one hand tied behind your back.bluehenbillk wrote:Lee-High has got blown away by the 2 CAA teams they played so far.

Re: Welcome Back to the Tub, Lehigh!
The running game hs been dominate vs mediocre defenses.. not very good vs the best run 'D's in the CAA.. the passing game has been very productive all year vs all defenses. It's not likely that the passing game will falter vs Lehigh.

Re: Welcome Back to the Tub, Lehigh!
Lehigh has no chance in this one... really just playing with house money at this point. I would think the Blue Hens will walk away with it. In fact, they should really be focused on making sure they have a good game plan ready for the UNH game, and just plan to sleep walk through the Lehigh game. We'll do our best to make sure no one gets hurt running over/through us.

Be sure to pick up some tax-free holiday goods while visiting. It'll take some of the pain away.kardplayer wrote:Lehigh has no chance in this one... really just playing with house money at this point. I would think the Blue Hens will walk away with it. I'm disappointed 93 - I expected a lot of pics and conversation about how loud the tub is, along with the pros of the pee wall.

More CAA hate. Ho Hum. Nothing better to do when your team is not relevant I guess.SuperHornet wrote:Is your running game not good enough to beat Lehigh if the passing game isn't up to snuff? I see. You're trying to taunt me, so that I might become cross and make a mistake. I will not fall for your trap!ASUG8 wrote:I'm disappointed 93 - I expected a lot of pics and conversation about how loud the tub is, along with the pros of the pee wall.

It's good enough to beat anyone except maybe Montana or Liberty. Thank God neither of those two made the field. If they had, I could have easily seen them in the finals.SuperHornet wrote:Is your running game not good enough to beat Lehigh if the passing game isn't up to snuff? Who lost to Boise State (WAC - non BCS) who just lost to Nevada (same as Boise). What's the point of the reply again?93henfan wrote:Yes. And Va Tech is BCS, btw. Anywho. Will be watching this game next week (if my pc doesn't get pissy and loose the connection) Good luck to both teams.

Re: Welcome Back to the Tub, Lehigh!
Yeah and everyone can play the 6 degrees of separation and be a BCS national champion but that gets old.
I think 93henfan's response was more tongue and cheek...saying oh by the way CAA teams do beat BCS teams.
Catmom...tv for this game has yet to be announced...might have to go the PC route one more week until ESPN's family of networks grabs the Qtrs.

Re: Welcome Back to the Tub, Lehigh!
Yup, the BCS got hold of ESPN by the nuts and they stopped televising the playoffs all the way through. I think I didn't see one on TV last year, here, till the semis.UD1Hens wrote:Yeah and everyone can play the 6 degrees of separation and be a BCS national champion but that gets old.

All of our games were broadcast in 2005. Damned elitists.
Re: Welcome Back to the Tub, Lehigh!
According to the NCAA website TV/Internet is as follows:UD1Hens wrote:Catmom...tv for this game has yet to be announced...might have to go the PC route one more week until ESPN's family of networks grabs the Qtrs.
Delaware-Lehigh.....................................NCAA......12pm
UNH-Bethune.........................................unknown....1pm
J State-Wofford......................................ESPN3.....12pm
Bill & Mary-GA Southern.............................NCAA.....130pm
App State-Western Illinois..........................ESPN3......12pm
SFA-'Nova.............................................ESPN3.....330pm
Eastern Washington-SEMO..........................NCAA........4pm
Montana State-NDSU.................................ESPN3.......2pm
No national TV unless someone has plans for game 2 above. As far as local TV I'm sure there will be some stations that pick up coverage. NCAA and ESPN3 are online streaming. I didn't fare too well with the NCAA site so I used http://fcsfootball.yolasite.com today with no problems. I don't know if it streams the 3. Can't wait 'til next Saturday.
Re: Welcome Back to the Tub, Lehigh!
We can beat any team including BCS ranked teams and our record proves it. We only beat teams with one hand tied behind our back when playing schools from really weak conferences such as the Big Fluffy Sky. Of course we could beat the PFL with both hands tied behind our back and standing on one leg.SuperHornet wrote:Is your running game not good enough to beat Lehigh if the passing game isn't up to snuff?
