That some genetic traits become magnified in isolated populations at remote locations with long, cold, dark winters and frequent inbreeding is my guess, but I don't have the scientific expertise to say for sure.
Congratultions you just described Bozeman and Missoula!
It's not NDSU, haven't lost by more than 12 points, but maybe by SIU math it could be 3 TD's. :kisswink:

Hey hounddawg you gonna be worth a crap next year or all the injuries from this year still gonna be affecting you? Well at least you'll still have your MVFC is down story, so it won't matter if you suck again.

That's the plan. My folks are driving in later today and we might have a few other people join us as well. I saw the alumni watch party is at the Senser's in Roseville but I don't think I'll drive up there, Bloomington should have it on too. Hope to see you there.

Dont forget my prediction Hawndawg! I've been right about a lot of things over the past couple years. This NDSU BISON Football team that is emerging in front of our very eyes will win at least 1 National Championship. A conference win or two would be nice for home field especially since the Fabulous Fargo Dome plans on installing a prestigious new playing surface this year.
Dear Lord, We come before you and humbly ask you to grant our prayer for a veil of protection to be placed over Donald Trump. May your will be done. In Jesus name we pray. Amen

My link doesnt show up? Joe Mays wants the BISON to keep it going.

There is heavy snow in central Minnesota. If I had tickets I wouldnt have been able to leave today unless I left early. That wouldn't even have helped the band of snow is circulating around over about 500 miles. I would have had it either way.

It's going to be on ESPN 360 for me.

The BISON, a running team traditionally, have been relying on the pass more this season. They have exploited the pass more than the run. Coach Bohl has always been about balance. This team no longer lives and dies with the running game.

if it's emerging in front of our very eyes then I assume you are talking about what we can see right now. That means this years freshman class.

You predict at least one NC in the next four seasons (this one included) I would guess?

You have said at least as many things you were wrong about as you have been correct on.

You are not somebody that one looks to for reasoned, insightful information but one must look nevertheless.

Here is a cool map of the Bobcat tailgate area.

http://www.bobcatnation.com/tailgate_map.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Many familiar names from this board. This must just be the permanent seasonal sites. I dont see any NDSU sites listed. I know Lakes is moving west with a camp.

The Battle Wagon is on the way and will be setting up camp near the stadium.

There will be several Motor Coaches pulling in under the Flag of the Mighty NDSU Football Conglomerate. Most of these luxury Motor Coaches will be transitional, showing up and then leaving after the game.

There are going to be some nice rigs pulling in and setting up camp in favor of The Thundering Herd. Watch for the custom buses and the trailers. Might even be a traditional party out of a car trunk or two.

The Lights have been turned on around the Fabulous Fargo Dome. It stands empty but it is glowing in this rather strange, cold and snowy night. The lights are on to stand as a beacon. The HERD is on the Road!!!

You just have to learn to seperate the wheat from the chaff UAH.

Here's how we used to do it at the "Old AC". As far as I know this picture was taken around 1902 or 03. Its hard to tell:

Well that wasn't a clear answer though JBB. FOCUS brother. Is it your prediction that before this Freshman class is done (4 yrs.) there will be a NC trophy residing if Fargo?

Thanks for the bread making lesson though.

Did your Late Great Grandfather build a time machine and travel to 2004 to attend the Antique Machinery Field Day?

Everything you post is definitely chaff.

Chaff is inedible for humans, but livestock can eat it and in agriculture it is used as livestock fodder, or is a waste material ploughed into the soil or burnt.

I see that SE already showed that this was not turn of the century pic, but still gong on your theory, how did they get the extruded aluminum ladder and the pickup in the background in 1902 or 03

Sorry I couldn't answer your question UAH. I have a foot of beautiful snow outside, exquisite powder like you see at Alta, and had two driveways to blow out.

Yes, I do believe and therefore predict at least 1 NC in the next 4 years. But this team is going to last more than 4 years. It has dynasty written all over it. Last year it was bubbling under. They were good but had weaknesses that were exploited, including moral. Last year was the lost year.

I believe the core of this new team was in place 2 years ago. Some good young guys, because of a lot of team attrition, got their chance a year ahead of time. Now there are more true freshman on the field because they are just that good. There are more guys coming from key football hotbeds all across the country including North Dakota. Coach Bohl is building something the NDSU Football Conglomerate has been looking for.

As far as separating the wheat from the chaff there were 2 things in that photo that were true:

1) Thats how "we" did separate the wheat from the chaff at the "Old AC".

2) My Grandfather was a great recruiter for the "Old AC". He would always have a football player staying at the house. He was on the faculty.

All the rest of its chaff, and that was funny ScreamnEagle!

Ps. 2506: They used a flux capacitor.

You just need to look a little closer - we don't have Bison flags for the tailgating map. Look in the Northeast corner (in the campus police parking lot) and you will see a flag for lakesbison. And yes, all of the available tailgating spots are bought for the season, so they found room for our guests over there.

The good news is that after you lose you'll be able to drop the phony schtick you adopted in order to look less ignorant about football. :thumb:

The 'cats defense gotta be licking their chops given that the bison scored a grand total of two offensive TDs against the top 5 teams on their schedule. Otoh, 2-3 over that stretch isn't bad for such a pitiful offensive showing.
