I overlooked this, but that link also confirms:
Other confirmed opponents for Georgia State’s second season are home games with Old Dominion (Sept. 10) and South Alabama (Oct. 22) and road games with South Carolina State (Oct. 15) and Texas-San Antonio (Oct. 29)

Word through the grapevine is Towson is looking to drop Coastal and schedule another FBS school. Akron is being thrown out there. I'm fine with having two FBS teams on the schedule as long as one is a shitty one in a non BCS conference.
"Elaine, you're from Baltimore, right?"
"Yes, well, Towson actually."

I don't care who does it, as long as it gets done and.....

TO WHOMEVER:

Take Lamar out of Independents and put them in the SLC. They will be full SLC in 2011 and eligible for the conference championship and playoffs.

Good stuff!

A few more NEC-Ivy matchups on the schedule:

Sep 24, 2011 - Albany at Columbia
Sep 24, 2011 - Dartmouth at Sacred Heart
Oct 01, 2011 - Wagner at Cornell
Oct 08, 2011 - Sacred Heart at Columbia
Oct 13, 2012 - Monmouth at Cornell

Is the Ivy team a favorite in any of those games? ;)

Ivy open dates:
Harvard - Oct 1, 2011 and Sep 29, 2012
Dartmouth - Oct 13, 2012

I hope that also means we'll get 6 home games in 2012 for the stadium opening.

I see Montana State scheduled Minot State...

And they call the Griz weak for scheduling a D2 school. Minot is moving to D2 but they're NAIA for Christ's sake.

Good job, this is a pretty sweet slate. If I had to nitpick at one thing, I would have scheduled one less FBS and tried to get a home/home with another FCS. Have the 2011 game at their house, and then in 2012 USD would have a decent non-conference game at home lined up for year one in the MVFC.

If USD can take positives from the first 4 games and build on the sucesses, while fixing some of the errors, I could see them winning the GW next year. Or they could easily get beat the hell up with injuries from AF, EWU and UW and finish the season burning up redshirts from injuries.

Hold the presses. Lamar is looking to drop us from their schedule and add TCU, who was dropped by Tech, so Tech is playing us.
As a filler for the SLC (TXST), they (Lamar or any other SLC school) are not required to play us. Stay tuned.

Anyone have 10/15 or 11/5 still open?

It's so late to be shuffling/adding to schedules.

Not that necessary to look forward to OOC games next year. We start the MVFC schedule and have 8 games built in. Hoping we continue the rivalry game with North Dakota and that will be a good OOC home game next year. With how we've had to scramble, beg, and steal to put together a schedule the last few years going forward should be a piece of cake.
