The fourth week number is considered the “official enrollment” for the year, but in reality, it is a snapshot only of the students registered on the first day of the fourth week of school. UND typically enrolls an additional 2,000 or so degree-seeking students throughout the remainder of the year. The number also doesn’t include some students trained by the John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences through UND’s partnerships across the United States and with other countries.

More important than the actual number of enrollment is the percentage. UND is up 3.5% since Fall of 2010, while NDSU is down 0.1 %. After years of increases in enrollment..."Free tuition waver" Joe Chapman leaves and enrollment hits the breaks at NDSU and starts moving backwards. At least UND is increasing enrollment the honest way and not giving these waviers, which is now being compensated by a 8.8% tuition increase at NDSU.

National Championships....SDSU has never been in 1. USD has played once but in 1989, and NDSU hasn't seen it since 1990. UND has been in 2 in the 21st Century. 2001 (won it all!!) and 2003 (runner-up). Maybe JBB you and Lakes can tell the Bison players what it was like to win a national title since most of team wasn't even born when it happened. Enjoy never winning a MVFC championship since you can't win at UNI...something UND did as a DII team. Funny how you make fun of the Big Sky when you cried when Northern Colorado got in and they told NDSU..no!! If it wasn't for SDSU you guys would be in our conference...at least until the end of this season because you would be a team without a conference when we go to the Big Sky.

why isnt und and ndsu in the conf now and before? maybe ndsu cant bring to the table what und can. i do not know. i have been learning about und over the past 6 months but know nothing about ndsu.

We played Weber twice while we were in transition, so you should know something about NDSU. Neither game was close I believe.

The Dakota Big 3 are the Big Dakota Universities that continue to celebrate the 100+ years of traditions and conference play. Schools that arent celebrating those traditions are not in the Dakota Big 3

I'm guessing it goes more like this:

UND is 10-3 in their last 13 against NDSU.
UND is 20-4 in their last 24 against USD.
UND is 11-4 in their last 15 against SDSU.

That's a collective 41-11 against the "Dakota Big 3".

The reason they're not in the "Big 3" is because they so routinely kick the collective asses of the big three they've stopped being invited to the party. Apparently the only "shared Dakota tradition" in the Big 3 is getting your ass handed to you on a fucking platter if you play UND.
