They celebrate when the qualify for the playoffs (OK, 6 of the 8 teams are crowned Divisional Champs). They celebrate winning the Championship Series (OK, they are crowned League Champs). And of course they celebrate winning the World Series. Why are they celebrating with a first round win?
There should only be ONE champagne celebration. What a fucking joke the others are.

I think we all agree with you. Some said that the season will have to play out though. Then it turned to whether the playoffs will really prove anything. Then champagne .
Montana State by far has the best team in the FCS.. These guys are good! They have a QB that can walk on water and the cold weather doesnt bother him one bit.. This team is gonna roll through the playoffs and will win back to back to back to back championships.. Watch out everyone!

Agree. Should make for a very interesting post-season.
That GSU/Wofford game in the land of the Beacon on Nov. 12 will be a dandy.
If GSU wins out and rolls into Bammer on 11/19 unbeaten, has there ever been a game between the #1 ranked FCS team and #1 ranked FBS team at any point in history?
Well it would have to be Towson. They only lost to FBS Maryland and the game was closer than the score. It can't be ODU since Towson converted a FOURTH AND 29 FOR A 63 YARD TOUCHDOWN TO WIN THE GAME.
But that is a different discussion for a different thread or two (or 10).

I would love to see the Bobcats win 4 back to back championships, 3 is a more realistic number because Jesus Mcghee only has 3 years left. Unless, just because we are the Bobcats it might happen if you let us count playoff wins as a Nat. Championship. If you do we will go ahead and give the Griz credit for lost Nat. championship games as wins. win win for everyone, maybe Montana football can come together, rather than beat the living sh*t out of each other every year... um maybe not.

I would love to pop Delaware in the mouth and end your season in the Dome. We'd make sure UD fans would be cursing Rennie like UNI fans curse Flacco from time to time.

There's been a couple. Most recent was ASU/LSU in 2008.
