This would be the biggest FCS game the state has ever seen. There were bigger NDSU-UND games in the DII days. My memory says UND's snapping NDSU's 12 game win streak against them in 1993, and the first UND-NDSU game in the Fargodome in 1994. You think farmer Brown in Pembina, ND is going to care if NDSU-UNI is playing...only if he is a Bison fan. When it was UND-NDSU the state watched.

Couple of things Darell, farmer Brown is from Bathgate, not Pembina and he's a Bison fan. Also, unless it's a round track with cars driving around it folks in Pembina don't care if it's NDSU v UNI, UND v Sioux Falls, Alabama v Auburn or NDSU v UND. I'm not going to argue if the UNI game bigger than past UND games, we both know that was a big deal and something for the entire state to get excited about but that was then and this is now. As a fan I'll tell you I loved those games, like the playoff game where Reggie Scott ran wild, yep, that was fun or back when UND was rated #1 in the country and Don Morton's Bison began the run of 12 in a row by SU, good times for sure. Not to take anything away from that era but this is different, I'm not saying better, just different. So just sit back and enjoy it. Take your Bison wife and kids to the game and enjoy a new kind of fun. Hell I'll even have a cold one or two with your name on it in the West lot.

Unfortunately tickets are gone. They will be watching and cheering on tv. I will be watching the game until the UND-UNC game comes on (1/2 hour difference). I know this is different and when the time comes in the future and both NDSU and UND go FBS (I hope there is a playoff then) it will be bigger than this.
