I know Georgia Southern is going to be a heavy favorite among message board posters this week and everyone is going to tell us how they're going to crush us, but just remember that GSU itself silenced doubters, beat I-AA powerhouses, and won a National Championship in their 2nd year of football (and 4th year of existence). This is still going to be a battle between two Top 10 programs, and a 10-2 CAA team is not exactly something to dismiss...

its not about being worried, its realizing that every single one of our opponents this year is pretty good with the exception of Georgia State and Campbell. Go back to ODU's schedule and show me one game other than Villanova where the game was decided before the 4th quarter. And being worried BEFORE the game (even though I'm not) is a lot better than acting like chicken little and the sky is falling after every single loss which you seem to have a habit of doing over on CAAZone. Also, I rarely come on here to talk smack so I'm sorry I'm not as good as you when it comes to insulting people personally. Anyway, from here on out I'm gonna do myself a favor and just skip every post you write from now on, I have better stuff to do with my time.

While not always the case, I can understand Razor's point. His posting style is, well, somewhat confrontational; and you are never quite sure how seriously he takes this stuff. Some folks respond well to it, and some don't. However, Razor has an identity of a diehard fan that will mix it up with any fanbase, including our own, without hesitation in defense of his team.

You have a different style, which is conciliatory to the extreme. You give a lot of respect to opposing fanbases to the point of nausea (that idiot in the White House uses thd same strategy for his foreign policy). And you do play the "woe is me, team Xx really scares me card" way too often for my taste. You have kissed so much Delware ass on these boards in your exponentially-rising post count that your lips are permanently-stained blue. The only reason I heard less about your concern for NSU is that there were no NSU fans here for you to spoon. God help ODU and its fans if we are lucky enough to beat Georgia Southern and draw Appy State. They have plenty of fans here, as well, and I can only imagine that should that game happen, some enterprising film maker will produce a low-budget remake of Deliverence, this time with you as the star, and with that very uncomfortable ending that we don't want to see.

Damnit, we belong in the upper echelon of FCS, have proven it on the field, and do not need approval from ny other fanbase that feels we have not yet paid our dues.

What you've proven so far is that you're better than a sorry MEAC team in the playoffs but not as good as Towson or Delaware in the regular season.

I do hope you become upper echelon FCS someday though, because then you can move your annoying asses right on "up" to lower tier FBS where your fans can post pics of MAC championship rings.

Hell, maybe you can even use some of those FBS dollars to invest in your school and become top 200 (something US News calls "Tier One") as a national institution of higher learning.

I think ODU will earn it's way to the upper echelon of FCS and much sooner than even they think. They put together an excellent game. I think ODU is a championship game dark horse. The big thing is whether the Freshman quarterback will be able to handle the road pressure in a tight game. I think we get that answer next week at Georgia Southern.

As for this game, ODU's run defense was terrific but then again total yardage was pretty much the same late in the 4th quarter....

Ehhh, outside that busted 98 yard play, NSU was sitting on less than 180 yards heading into the 4th quarter.

Yep. It posts are so predictable and tiresome, it really get's old hearing how worried he is we are going to lose before every game and how great the other team is and how mediocre ODU is in this or that.

Seriously, we are 11-2 and a completely fluky 3:30 minutes against Towson away from being 12-1 and CAA Champions in our first freaking season. Start showing some damn confidence in the team and in your school.

So, its a down year when teams like Maine, Towson, and ODU are at the top; but its an up year when Delaware, UR, WM, and the Ticks are at the top.

We got 1/4 of the entire field with our five teams, and Towson should have been seeded.

You did not make it, so the CAA is down. I get it Mr. Myopia.

BTW, when you quit scheduling West Chester and Delaware state, then you can talk about creampuff OOC schedules. You truly are an idiot without borders if you feel entitled to rag on ODU's OOC sked when yours is 2 cupcakes (one d2) and a whored out FBS game v. Navy.
