GSU's defense really isn't that bad. Just to put it into perspective, that was the most points we have given up all year. That includes Alabama who is not a joke on offense at all. That includes the Furman team that put 32 points on Florida (compare that to what Montana did at Tennessee). That includes the Wofford team that had 400+ yards on UNI but couldn't score because they shot themselves in the foot today. We were giving up less than 20 points per game before the Alabama game.
Either ODU just played the game of their lives or GSU's D had an off day, or both. Personally, I thought the play of our offense was actually more sloppy than that of the defense - penalties, fumbles, bad snaps.
They did a good job of blocking Russell, he wasn't much of a factor today. We got pressure on Heinicke, but he always escaped the pocket and his accuracy didn't seem to diminish one bit when he was running for his life.93henfan wrote:Once you get past the manwhorebear there's not a lot back there to stop you this year it appears.GannonFan wrote:Heineke can play, no doubt, but who knew that GSU was that bad on defense?
