I agree this sucks. The only pleasure I will take in it is watching the meltdown fanboi is going to have. His circle jerk buddies are going to have fits.

Sucks about Spadola :ohno:
Yup. That hurts. Just having him on the field changes defensive schemes and give DCs nightmares. NDSU will have a real advantage without that threat. Look for Lum to go to his two tight ends quite a bit more with a look-see downfield to Drawl now and then. He can still burn you but without Spadola, Drawl isn't as much of a threat. Really a shame.
now THAT is honest Lehigh analysis.

NDSU lost 2 of its top 3 receivers for 11 games,,,, and still won games,,,, if lehigh is a great program, they should overcome this with no excuses.

The BISON are getting their game on offense and will certainly slow Lehigh down a step or two giving the Herd the margin of victory.

"It's A BIZON UPRIZIN!" "NOT SURPRIZIN"

Right now I have the BISON by 3. NDSU has not been able to cover the spread this season. It could be a loss if they dont cover this spread:

Here's "The Call" straight from Headquarters:

Image
The NDSU BISON by 3.

QB Lehigh
Receivers Lehigh
Running Backs NDSU
O line NDSU

D line NDSU
Linebackers NDSU
D Backs NDSU

Over all The BISON are a more physical and punishing team. Lehigh looks a lot like JMU with more speed and a better QB.

NDSU has a clear edge at place kicker.

Home field advantage is solid. Lehigh plays in front of D2 sized crowds similar to UND, even smaller. Think average Big Sky game.
****FOOTBALL ALERT****
Over/under = 61
****/alert****
If the BISON take control of the Lehigh line of scrimmage and significantly slow down their passing attack watch for a BISON rout. That is far more likely than the Lehigh passing attack taking over the game.

The excitement is starting to build as the activities of the day decidedly begin to hype up the "BIG GAME" Atmosphere. With some ugly comments from some cowardly and anonymous fans behind us the focus is now on the ramp-up for this National "Spotlight" game.

The Master Gators are sure to be out in force. Located at the F Pole off the North Line of the Dome stop by and say hi. They know the game and know the BISON.

The NDSU Football Conglomerate is silent. The BISON are under wraps. Things are busy around the insanely popular Fabulous Fargo Dome. It is not known where the BISON are but it is known there are several Important BISON Coaches in the Fabled Arena right now. The HERD may already be assembled?

There are some reports starting to come out of Lehigh:

http://www.lehighsports.com/videos/lehi ... akota.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

As the State of North Dakota and the rest of the FCS world begins the long wait to kickoff there is calm and focus among the BISON. The game plan is sound and well studied. Input was garnered from across the football world. The offices deep under the Fabulous Fargo Dome were humming all night with study of the lore. Data was pouring in.

The focus of course is the solution to stopping Lehigh, a passing team. They may have gone back to the mid 80s when a BISON team shut down the nations best passing attack at Greely, Co? Who knows what they have found, but they have found it. It was clear earlier this morning when the limos left the lot of the then quiet but insanely popular Arena that things had changed in favor of The BISON. The plan was in plaace. The only thing left to do was meet with the players so they understood the final game plan and the road to victory.

The athleletes are well conditioned in mind, body and spirit. Each is expert at the game and its fundamental techniques. Each is prepared through good diet, good hygiene, highly efficient and effective practices, coaching and of course the will to win. This "Spotlight Game" is just starting to shine.

GO BISON!!

The stakes are starting to shake out. Early on Maine has no answer for the GSU option attack and trails by 7. The greatest body of knowledge on every aspect of the option attack is found in the NDSU Football Conglomerates BISON LORE.

MSU is helpless outside the comfortable confines of the BSC. Outside of the bizarre circumstances last year the BSC has a history of folding in the playoffs. Sam Houston is no typical Big Sky Team.

The biggest game of all is about to start. We are withing 90 minutes.

Right now in Fargo the tailgate is full steam ahead with the outer lots filling up. Temp is beautiful. just under 40 degrees with light winds. Perfect outside tailgating weather. Thats the best way for football: Outside tailgating/inside football.

NDSU wants perfect conditions for the game. The BISON want to have the best chance to play at the top of their game without the chance weather injects. Think about it, scheduling a game high in the moutains that will go to about 10 PM!

That doesnt happen here in Fargo. We want the best conditions so the best team can win!

GO BISON!!

Well looks like lakes is right on one part of this their a hole receiver won't score any points... :ohno:

Still, Bison win this one, even if the score is close, it's just an illusion. NDSU is a better team. Once again that pains me to say that in so many ways.

1) There are no mountains in NoDak

2) The game started at 4:00

3) The NCAA and ESPN set the times

4) Over the last three seasons the Big Sky is 13-4 in the playoffs. What's the MVFC record?

NDSU gets the award for the ugliest everything. Ugliest dome, with the ugliest playing surface, with the ugliest midfield logo, with the ugliest uniforms, and definitely the ugliest fans. Yikes. Go Lehigh.

CLOWN FOOTBALL!!!

If that ball was a cock, neither team would be letting it slip out of their hands that often.

What an absurd mockery of everything that Montana has tried to do for FCS football. The ridiculous color-scheme, the third-rate "enclosure" (for to call that monstrosity a "stadium" is to profoundly insult real stadiums everywhere), combined with the crude and inelegant brand of "football" on display is almost too much to bear. :ohno:
On a brighter note, I did manage to work my Username into this post, and in a completely non-contrived way! Props?
