Was thinking about this again this morning... I think I know how this is going to go...

Bison offense, which is a big, physical, ball control, west-coast attack will be able to score repeatedly on long, sustained drives that will get easier as the game goes along and those physical factors start to take their toll (that's how it has played out ALL season)

Lehigh will go up top and score as well - on quick drives and long bombs - the Bison have shown they will be beat deep - I'm sure that will happen again...

the difference maker in this one will be NDSU's ability to get pressure on Lum - and force mistakes... because as the game goes along, those big hits and constant pressure take a toll - all it will take is one big play... one big defensive score to decide this one...

Well - I got the Bison offensive call right on... The Bison defense REALLY stepped up - bending and not breaking multiple times throughout the game...

Bison made concerted effort to never get beat deep - and they weren't... kept it in front of them all game long and in the end, that may have made the most difference.

Things are a little crazy around here right now Im sure you understand. Lehigh is a well coached, talented team. Much better than UNI and a lot better than they were last year. Its easy to see why the Panthers went down at home against these guys. Montana even beat the Panthers, spanked them!

Lehigh is one of the best teams The NDSU BISON have ever played!

This was a shut-out. A rout. A big win by any standard.

NDSU was exposed today by a poorly coached, rag-tag bunch of misfits and second thoughts. In a game MUCH closer than the final score would indicate, lightly regarded Lehigh came in to the Fargo Dome and had the home team on the ropes for much of the afternoon. By virtue of a series of calls by the officials that had even the most rabid bison fan blushing, NDSU was able to pull away towards the end, and hang on for the win.
Georgia Southern take note: Your challenge next week will be not just to defeat the bison on their own (absurd) turf, but to do so while knowing that most (if not EVERY) questionable call will NOT go your way.

Great call again if I do say so myself. This has been a good season. It all started when I called the EWU demise @ South Dakota. That offended many of you both before the game when you were indignant and after the game when you were resentful and full of vengeance and hate. Sad indeed they are haters. Its a sickness really.

From there it has been an uncanny success in predicting the NDSU BISON Success story: THE story in the FCS this season.

Lets break down this weeks call ok fellers :

If the BISON take control of the Lehigh line of scrimmage and significantly slow down their passing attack watch for a BISON rout.

They had a great pass rush. Their pass rush combined with the atmosphere made it tough on our offensive line in some pass rush situations. We got beat by a team better than us today, and that’s what the playoffs are all about

The atmosphere was definitely tough just relaying and communicating with the lineman and receivers was difficult.

NDSU has a clear edge at place kicker.

Here of course, I was pointing out to you, my readers, the key to this game: Their inability to kick field goals led to two 4th down attempts. Both failed as did the fourth down attempts at the goal line by UNI, ISU and others this season. The result was the same, a loss for the team having its confidence broken by the BISON defense.

As everyone by now is aware the insanely popular Fabulous Fargo Dome has been named one of the nations top 50 football stadiums! Its not a pretty little place its a tough place to play with an atmosphere unknown to most in the FCS. Its an honour to play at the Fabulous Fargo Dome. What a thrill for these GSU kids!
