Rings for all the transition players

Jeff Kolpak has introduced the notion all NDSU BISON transition players should get a championship ring. I applaud the idea. He makes a great case in his article today in the Fargo Forum.

There were a lot of former players in Frsco and making Fridays practice open to them was a very uplifting emotional experiance. The tradition of The BISON LOre runs deep and it runs back generations. I believe they should get the rings. The transitional players deserve it.

I don't agree. Tough as it is.....they did not win this game.

I think there's an argument to be made for both sides...

NDSU could maybe create a special ring different from the National Ring for the players that transitioned the program. Something of some sort should be done to recognize the efforts of them. Go BIson!!!

Agree with this. Their sacrifices and hard work should be commemorated - but the men of THIS team won the NC.
