People aren't saying Sac is bad this year, but they're not going to be competing for a BSC title. 5th place at best.
I take that back. UNC is winning 10-7.

Sac State has surged to the lead on the strength of several bad UNC defensive penalties. Sac leads the nation with a red zone scoring rate of 10-for-10 on the season.

That, or improve stadium capacity, increase attendance, and bring food to you. Which is what we're on the path to doing.

Hornets still up 14-10 at the half. Bad news for the Bears, though, as an OL went down on the Hail Mary that ended the half. The officials said the Hornet interceptor was out of bounds, but given their horrible performance in this game, I'm not convinced they're right, but it wouldn't have done Sac much good as the clock ran out on the play. As it is, however, there is WAY too much zebra interference in this game on BOTH sides. Neither team is getting in a rhythm, and that is one of the reasons. Of course, shaky play is a factor as well.

Ugly ugly game. Aside from a TD to open the game by Safron, he has looked awful. All UNC points have come on the special teams (Gunn 74 yd punt return TD, Carter fumbled a punt return and UNC got a FG from it). UNC should also probably have gotten a pick six if their defender holds onto a ball late in the 2nd qtr.

UNC center is out for the game at least with a possible MCL injury (commentator speculation).

Sure, I want to win, but I don't want THAT to be the reason. Our run game is just NOT there, and Safron (as SD says) has been horrible.

Safron picked for only the second time this year. It was a decent pass, but the receiver juggled it before losing it. THAT one goes to the receiver. The commentators mentioned that Safron's other pick was under similar circumstances....
