You do understand that that is not an elk...right?
More grizza fail. I think I made it pretty clear in my post in that thread (and this one) that I was making fun of Weezy. Yes, grizza, I know that's not an elk.

Craziest weekend in BSC play in a long time.

ISU @ Nebraska - ISU
Enjoy yourself, Jackparty. Yell loud...the Jacks need all the help they can get while playing there. Missoula's a cool town. The fans are much more welcoming in person than here on the internets. I don't suggest wandering the student section as they're drunk, feral and in full arshehole mode before the game even starts. Hope the fires and air quality has eased up a bit. The Mo (Missoula) Club downtown is a good venue to grab a brew and a cheap but good burger. This place looks kinda divey but oozes football history/fandom. Some good breweries in town if you're into that kinda thing also.
I appreciate your enthusiasm for NAU over the UofM but ISU over Nebraska!!! Really?

So the reason the Lumberjacks upset Montana IN Missoula is that JackParty will be in the stands?
SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

30-4 so far, having not picked any of our FBS upsets. I feel comfortable with the ISU/Nebraska game so maybe perfection is this week. Here are the predictions for 9-22. All my opinion only.
EWU at WSU---The Eagles had a week to get ready for conference play. The Wildcats played McNeese State rather tough at home. However, the Eagles may be better...EWU 31, WSU 17.
ISU at Nebraska---First time since 1982 that the Big Sky has beaten FBS/DI-A four times in a season. Can the Bengals make it five? That would probably be the most impressive win all year...Nebraska 52, ISU 21.
UND at Sac State---The Dakotans came to California (San Diego State) last week and almost pulled off the upset. The Hornets seemed to struggle most of the game against Northern Colorado. If they do that this game, they could be in trouble...UND 35, Sac State 28.
NAU at UM---The return of Souers to Missoula. The Lumberjacks have not beaten the Grizzlies anywhere in the last 14 tries (or so), but some think this may be their year. Maybe so, if the game was in Flagstaff. Missoula, a different story...UM 28, NAU 24.
UNC at MSU---The Bears had some good moments on the road at Sacramento State last week while the Bobcats have been doing just enough, rallying in the fourth quarter of their last two games. It would be interesting if they had to do that here...MSU 31, UNC 21.
SUU at PSU---The Vikings defense seems to wilt under the pressure from a poised quarterback and the Thunderbirds have that. The Thunderbirds defense kept DII New Mexico Highlands in the game before the offense bailed them out. A shootout for sure...SUU 42, PSU 35.
UCD at CP---The Mustangs are coming off of a splendid performance at FBS Wyoming last week. The Aggies are coming off of a splendid performance at South Dakota State last week, at least on defense. The offense is another story...CP 24, UCD 14.
SD: Do you really think that the Huskers will call off the dogs? I know it's a different era and and a new coaching staff and all, but I still remember the 49-7 and 70-21 drubbings they gave UOP. I think that theoretically at least they could make a run at triple digits agianst ISU if they don't bother to sub early and often, and possibly even if they do.

SD and Super - I would diffidently suggest that the PSU-SUU game is at least a 50-50 no-call. Yeah, our defense has a very large question mark. Don't see how firing the DC last week will help much, but I figure Burton will at least pull them into line. Our true freshman QB is actually better than average. Scores will be high.
