Of course, since Montana has never beaten Wyoming, they don't stand a chance of winning.

Well if that 0-13 had been dished out from 1999-2011, I'd have to agree with youdbackjon wrote:Of course, since Montana has never beaten Wyoming, they don't stand a chance of winning.

What were/are your actual school colors? Were they copper and gold and then changed, or was it only in athletics?Grizalltheway wrote:What a shocker, 89 doesn't like something black.

Meh. I kinda liked what the ones last week against Liberty were going for, but I'm just a stick in the mud with picking a color and sticking with it. I think maybe I do like the black/silver/maroon better than the grey and lighter maroon, but I'm not a fan of the black/pewter/super dark maroon. Either way, just make up your damn minds.Brock Landers wrote:

I think going way back to the 1890s they were maroon and silver, got changed to copper and gold in the 60s, then changed back to maroon and silver...and now black.89Hen wrote:What were/are your actual school colors? Going back to what they were is cool. If maroon/silver are the throwbacks...Grizalltheway wrote:I think going way back to the 1890s they were maroon and silver, got changed to copper and gold in the 60s, then changed back to maroon and silver...and now black.
Also, the Griz script on the helmets HAS to go. The paw would be much better.

It looked alright on the back when we did that, but I think it would look weird on the sides.89Hen wrote:Going back to what they were is cool. What ours looks like has little to do with the fact that your's is stock script from a low rent local sporting goods store.AZGrizFan wrote:Says the fan of the team whose helmet looks like this:

If history is to be believed, we'll get new uniforms next season.89Hen wrote:Meh. I will make this one. I made the last trip there too. We need lots of people to show up so we can keep the antelope off the field.

Copper and gold are the school colors. Maroon and silver are The University of Montana's spirit colors.89Hen wrote:What were/are your actual school colors? Were they copper and gold and then changed, or was it only in athletics?Grizalltheway wrote:What a shocker, 89 doesn't like something black.

Re: Montana @ Wyoming - 2014
Wait you haven't always been Maroon and Black? Changing your school colors seems a little sacrilege to me, but I do like the Maroon and Black and Silver.
Re: Montana @ Wyoming - 2014
Almost; the official school colors are copper, silver and gold. Uniforms have always been maroon and silver with the exception of '69-'94, when they were burnt orange (copied from Texas), which was a very poor imposter of copper, and babysh*t yellow which was a very poor imposter of gold. The black and granite has come in lately under the influence of Nike to be hip for the youngsters. The biggest problem with the current jerseys is that the granite numbers on maroon afford insufficient contrast to make out the numbers from the upper deck. They need a white outline.Grizpsych wrote:Copper and gold are the school colors. Maroon and silver are The University of Montana's spirit colors.89Hen wrote: What were/are your actual school colors?
