I would vote for NDSU as number 1 again this week. I think they are still the favorites despite saturday's loss.
They would be the team I would least like to draw come playoff time. They may have stumbled this week, but they are a very tough hard nose team. This loss in the long run might make them all the more dangerous. Now they will know they can lose when they don't bring their A game. I expect to see their A game the rest of the way.

What? Several computers have them at #2. Why can't they be #1?

Why?

Cal Poly and EWU have a better resume than Sam Houston St.

Neither has lost to an FCS team yet.

Now that people have figured out SHSU's weird offense, they haven't been nearly as dominant as last year.
I would say Cal Poly right now.

I don't have a link but the coaches poll (sorry I know it's normally bad), is out & has EWU #1 and JMU #2.

On one hand I think Cal Poly probably should be higher in the poll since they are undefeated. On the other hand they haven't had the opportunity to play any of the better BSC teams. It will be interesting to see how they do against Sac State, EWU and NAU. As newcomers to the BSC I wish them all the best except of course against EWU.
