Bar none this is the game of the week in FCS prove to me it isn't. #1 Team in the country vs the #20(guessing, I'll change it when the new polls come out), winner goes on to be alone at the top of the MVFC. A hundred years of rivalry between the North and the South, the winner will become/remain the bearer of the Dakota Marker trophy. Should be as exciting as they come.
Can't wait, taking my buddy to his first Bison game. I'll take NDSU winning at home, and I honestly don't even expect it to be as close as the past 2 weeks have been for us. Should be a good one though.

Why is the perception that SDSU is not as good as the rest of the top of the conference even thought they have done as well or better and or beaten the other teams at the top so far? Not really upset, just curious I guess.

I do think SDSU is as good as the top of the conference. But the Bison have looked sluggish on offense the past few weeks and I'm hoping for a breakout game before the playoffs, I think this is that week.
SDSU is more than capable of winning, I just don't see it happening. But I never "see" it happening, and it still happens on occasion haha.

The Jacks are a good team. The defense has been playing tough all year.
Bison need to play a good game to win. No turnovers will be big for the Bison. If they have multiple TOs then they will lose against this team. If the Bison team that beat YSU shows up then it will be a 2-3 TD game if not and the IND State team shows up then they lose.
I suspect a pretty close game on saturday. Good ol fashion head-knocker...
A) Should be hard hitting game...can't really remember one that wasn't.
B) SDSU for whatever reason, hates domes. It has been to say the least difficult to win at the Fargodome.
C) Throw the records(though both are really good) out the window. This is a 100 year rivalry game for a trophy and all the bragging rights.

Funny how that happens when you play against good defenses.
You matter. Unless you multiply yourself by c squared. Then you energy.

Bison win 20-17. As always, our defense was amazing, offense looked bad again. SDSU basically handed us the game at the end with penalties. Marker stays in Fargo, and the Bison have clinched a share of the Valley championship!

Just to see how the 4-way tie atop the standings would play out.
I'm not to sure that won't happen. Mostly I'm only concerned with SDSU winning
I could see the Redbirds pulling one out over the Bison (though I could also see a big NDSU win, it all depends which Redbird team shows up, as well as which Bison team). And the Sycamores should be able to beat the Penguins.
The Coyotes aren't total doormats, and have some talent. I could see USD getting fired up for the "instate rivalry". But I think the Jackrabbits can probably fend them off, especially with homefield advantage, if the condition of y'all's turf is the same as it's been late in previous seasons.
