Okay then.

If we beat ISUr, I LOVE our half of the bracket.

agreed, but you guys got a crap draw as the #3. Stony Brook is no joke then SHSU.
I got no horse in the race. I lost a bet, so I have to wear the MSU avatar through the playoffs, but I agree with your assessment.

The man speaks the truth. I won't look it up like I used to always do but the record of Southland teams at home in the playoffs vs. Big Sky teams and on the road are two entirely different things. Sam Houston did win at Eastern Washington in the playoffs a few years back though before getting handled by the Montana team the Bearkats beat soundly in Huntsville during the regular season.

It'll be interesting to see how the Cal Poly at Sam Houston State goes in the second round. That's a fairly tough opener for Sam Houston. Assuming Cal Poly still runs the double wing option style that'll be interesting to see that style of option playing against Sam Houston State's style of option.
Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?

EWU gets a cakewalk game, NDSU gets a tough 2nd round game. It's a legitimate complaint in my mind. That said, NDSU will get the job done and EWU will choke in the quarterfinals.

Who cares....

Bring them all on. SDSU shouldn't have too much trouble with EIU; the weather will probably be crappy for EIU's passing game.

NDSU will have 2 weeks of rest for this game which will help some guys right now.

But from the look of the bracket, Old Dominion and EWU have the easiest games by far.

EWU deserves its pairing. The BSC was amazingly competitive this year from top to almost bottom. But I agree, NDSU got hosed a little. They should get the winner of CCU-BCU. It gets tough for everybody after that.

I blame NDSU's draw on fan karma as witnessed by your assine prediction. :dunce:

Welcome :thumb:

I'd be more concerned about Ill State though. That's not an easy game for you guys. I have winner of that game playing Sam Houston in Semi-finals.

I did find it alittle odd that the Bison might potentially face a conference foe right away in their 1st game.

But it doesn't matter, you have to win or you're done now.

If EWU wins their 1st game they will have a very tough quarterfinal game against either Appy or Ill State.

Don't you know that Southland teams freeze to death in Montana?

We know that ISUr is no cakewalk. I really have no idea what to expect for that game.

I wouldn't be too upset about not having to make back-to-back cross-country trips though.

Ill State's defense was probably better last year but they are undefeated on the road this year.

Brown (QB) is a senior 4 year starter and is pretty good. I suspect they will come out and throw the ball all over like they did to the Bison yesterday.

I would imagine that Appy will have a big crowd for this game. I don't know if Appy has a good running game but the Bison wore them down in the 2nd half yesterday and put them away with the running game.

I'll be 'rooting' for my fellow Valley team but it is really hard to win in Boone. I suspect Appy wins this.

I know exactly why they put the SDSU game as the play in to the NDSU, it's the same thing that happened with ODU and Norfolk State, the committee wants to see good rivalry games. It helps bring in the fans, and it helps with the TV. This year your potential matchups are SDSU-NDSU, ODU-GSU, and maybe the Villanova-SBU game, considering Stony's headed to CAA next year.

Yes we have a run game, but if defensive front is good, then we don't run well because our o-line is young.

The two-week layoff should do us good, especially for our QB Jackson because our run game has suffered without the option of him running.

It's almost the same team that beat Montana in the playoffs last year, is Cal Poly better than Montana was last year?

I don't believe that EWU has EVER "choked" in the playoffs. And I don't expect it to happen THIS year, EITHER. Particularly given that their QF opponent will be App/IL St. That should be a good Eag win....
