Well done Bears

Watched you play a couple times this year. Not the Bears of old. Had you picked over the Fighting Who? your last game. Ending the season with a better record than the Griz is something they will never live down. Shoot for the playoffs next year-you don't play EWU or UM.
Congrads & best of luck in the future.

congrats to the Bears. He is hoping it starts to build a nice following in Greely! the kids deserve it.

I'm glad the Bears finally found a way to get to .500 inthe conference, but let's not get too crazy here. They still finished with a losing overall record at 5-6. But it is indeed a much better performance than the last several years.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves there, catfan. It's not like we lost to them or anything. :coffee:

I was there on Saturday, this is a real football team that hung in there to the bitter end, and found a way to win it after shooting themselves in the foot several times allowing UND a chance to pull it out, that is a big difference from the old Bears.

Still concerned about some of the play calling, and very concerned about some of the personal discipline by a few players who don't seem to mind hurting their team with penalties in order to call attention to themselves, and that must stop.

Looks to me like a good solid returning team for next years squad as well.

No shit. Although I can't blame scat fans for having selective memories, given the number of times they've been embarrassed over the last decade. :coffee:

I actually thought the play-calling was pretty good. That call to Sawyor Monson and his TD was pretty awesome. Good offensive play calling by Boyer.

So why is it a good idea to toss it up for grabs late in the game with a one point lead, when you are ripping off 8-9 yards per carry and killing time off the clock?

Thought so..

We did the same thing against Weber and it went for 69 yards and set up the TD that iced the game, so I guess Boyer figured he'd try it again. Plus, there was some pretty blatant pass interference on that INT against North Dakota that didn't get called.

Toss it up for grabs? WTF! Lobato has a rocket for an arm and there was one on one coverage on the outside. What makes you think he just tossed it up grabs?

Situation, situation, situation. In that situation, and I am not going to describe it to you again, it was tossed up for grabs.

Proof positive is the fact...it did get picked off!

I know he had a big drop against us at some point, because I've called him "stone hands" ever since. And I'm a Vikings fan!

A program-maker; otherwise it would be 70-36-5. You could still be the Agricultural College of the State of Montana....

Great to have Jayquan in Greeley. He should redshirt next season and be ready to go. UNC is the future of the Big Sky!

Probably right; doesn't say much for the BSC, though, does it....
