You griz fans said "there's more of our fans than yours" 5 years ago. Then EWU started selling out games weeks in advance. You griz fans said EWU couldn't pack their own stadium for an entire season in early 2010. Then EWU started selling out games consistently. Now the EWU is THIRD IN ATTENDANCE OUT OF 13 teams! Now it's "oh you can't get more than 12k!!!" You know better. I know u do.

Really enjoy watching both teams and have had great times with both their fan bases (last year when SUU beat the Griz in Missoula and when we lost in super close game to the Cats a few years ago). But for the sake of the playoffs I am rooting for the Griz to ensure that MSU cannot get in!

Meh, brick by brick. Attendance is improving every year. We would have never gotten 10k+ to a game in Cheney against a school without Montana in it's name as recently as 5 years ago. Now it's to the point where tickets aren't available for games. No, even with an expansion we won't get 15k to a game overnight - it'll take time. Short term, 12-13k isn't out of the question with the way attendance has been trending. Montana didn't average 25k overnight, either, and that was with little-to-no compeition.
