They beat the Griz head-to-head and should have been seeded ahead of the Griz.
Plus a better conference record.
NAU got screwed....
Well I guess I can't blame you for wanting to play them instead of us.

Frankly, I don't care which teams come to Fargo. They are going to have a tough time winning.
I cannot wait to see if the Griz make it to Fargo. The excuses will be fun to read when they lose.
No excuses from this guy if that scenario plays out...I just do not think the Griz can win in Fargo this year, Bison are tough, a tough matchup for everyone

I'd bet less than 10% of Griz fans think we have a realistic chance of beating NDSU in Fargo.
You guys, on the other hand, are so far up your own asses it's hilarious.
Boy howdy!
Bill Fette will toss the opening coin.

LOL...just like reading the Griz 'circle jerk' on most of these threads.
LOL....NDSU is 6 points away from having a 41 game winning streak right now.....
Until someone beats NDSU they are the best team in the FCS right now.
LOL....I could give a rat's a** if you don't like NDSU fans.....
Your ego is unparalleled. No one that I have heard/read/posted think NDSU isn't the best team.
And yes, your fans are jackasses. You are welcome.

Nope, I think it would be a cool match-up, considering we didn't play NAU this season. We're just providing some commentary on how NAU got screwed, which they did. Care to provide any additional perspective/justification other than the SRS joke of an argument?

But both teams played 11 Division 1 opponents. I don't think playing the Okie Finokies is enough of a justification for giving UM the seed over NAU who had the same number of DI wins, a better conference record, and a win in the HTH over the Griz. But it is what it is. Griz fans should feel very fortunate.

Different argument. I don't recall anyone saying the Griz have an easier path. Just an easier round of 16 matchup. The easier path goes to the team that finished 8-0 in conference and actually beat more than one team with a winning a record (5 to be exact) beat two out of three playoff teams, and 1-1 against FBS.
The Griz are like a Big South or MEAC AQ, all full of bluster about a glossy 10-2 record without winning a game against real competition.
Kalm, my question is do you really know anything about Coastal? Are you sure that UM has the easier path?
I also know that EWU is hanging their hat on sneaking up on OSU, and it was a great win, but have they really beaten anyone else? No BSC team has that great of a resume.
Pretty sure EWU beat the Griz at your place. Does that count? EWU sneak up on you? UM beat any FBS teams this season or recently for that matter? Signature win for EWU --- #25 Oregon State; the Griz --- MSU. Thanks for pointing out that beating UM is, well; pointless. Good luck against the MEAC or Big South.

Montana had a better GPI, SRS, SOS and overall record than Northern Arizona. (NAU had two byes and didn't have to play the conference champions.) The only advantage NAU had was the head-to-head. By your logic, MSU should have gotten in over NAU and UC Davis should have gotten in over SUU since they owned the head-to-heads. I agree it could have gone either way for the seed but one game doesn't make the entire season.
So again...computer models. Great argument.
Here's another one - anyone care to explain how the NUMBER 8 SEED draws the winner of Bethune-Cookman and Coastal Carolina, while the number 3 seed gets the winner of NAU and SDSU? I'll be waiting.
So why don't you take your argument up directly with the NCAA Selection Committee? The Univ. of Montana, as well as all other participants in the FCS Division of the NCAA didn't make out the Brackets; the NCAA Selection Committee did. Talk with them about it instead of taking it out on those that received what they got whether they liked it or not.
The trouble with you white people is that you're never just about anything.
