Now it looks like that call might matter.... I sure hope Montana can pull this out. They lose by 7 and I say Missoula may riot

We still didn't make the plays. If we took the 30 yard pass out of our play book, I think we could have won this one. WAY to many deep throws that hit the field for one reason or another. There is nothing wrong with a 5-7 yard completion. :coffee:

Hats off to Coastal. They came in and worked us, but that was a fucking travesty of officiating.

Second playoff game in a row the Griz decided to only play in the second half.

Even the ESPN former coach talked about how Montana kept going the long ball when it wasn't working. That and we let Ross beat us on third down.

The part time CCU coach whooped our asses!

End the bias in the FCS playoff committee.

This game should've been played in Conway, SC. Liberty should've been in. Maybe even Charleston Southern.

But the bias towards the Northeast and Rocky Mt region schools continues.

Congrats Coastal. I know you guys don't care anything about my other points, rightfully so. But we're all proud of you guys repping the BIg South anyway. Go beat NDSU.

Pretty much all the long ball stuff this season is on Johnson & not the coaches. It's like he doesn't know (or doesn't care) what a check down is. And it didn't help that his long ball was way off most of the game.

Summary

CCU played well, particularly their O-Line
Griz were horrid in the second quarter
Griz D played well in the second half
Griz lost by a touchdown
Replay snafu cost the Griz a touchdown

WTF was up with the replay taking away our screen to Canada to the 2?

I was at the game & I'm not certain.

I think they reviewed the previous play for some reason. And that wiped out the Canada catch even though the other play stood as called. :?

I personally hate my fellow CAA schools, especially JMU and Nova. Not sure who you are referring to.

That being said, the CAA schools left, Torson and UNH, are some of my least-hated brethren. If they win, it won't hurt my feelings.

Didn't watch the game, so I don't know, did the replay call cost the griz the game? Are you saying they would have one? AGAIN, I didn't watch the game, just saw they lost and what people are saying on here.

How can they review a play after another full play has taken place? I don't get it.

CCU deserved the win, they played better for most of the game. However this was the worst officiating I have ever seen.

I know I sound bitter and butthurt (because I am lol), but this was the worst officiated game I've seen in years.

Mick Delaney was absolutely livid during the 4th quarter.

The Griz had 1st and goal on the 2 and then they reviewed the play that happened BEFORE that play. It was upheld but the screen that took us to the 2 never happened, we were backed up to the 17. Griz failed to score from there. Had the ball been at the 2 we likely would have scored.
