I don't follow other teams closely and this is my first time seeing West play. Is he really a man among boys or is the EIU defense just not playing well?

I have watched him play 4 times, this is the 5th, and he is just a BEAST. No other way to put it. He bowls over a couple people every game and always seems to bust one or two for a long TD.

As stated, again, Towson's line has been the difference. I still have not seen EIU play this undisiplined in regards to gaps and assignments.

Big boy football. People can claim there's no difference, but there is.

EIU has spent the past 9 weeks feasting on the likes of Austin Pee, SouthbySouthwest Missouri St, Tennesee Tech, Tennessee Martin, Tennessee State (2x), Tennessee Whisky, Bill Murray State, etc., etc. If (and that's a big if) EIU was REALLY as good as you surmised, we'd never be able to prove it since they haven't been in an actual football game since about the third week of September.

Even your first playoff game was a walkover....

There's nothing I can say about Terrance West that hasn't already been said. He had a career night—indeed, the best rushing performance by a Towson player since 1993. He took over the single season FCS rush TD mark and got more yards on the ground than Jimmy G got in the air. Holy hell.

Fordham was about winning in the tournament. Eastern Illinois was about proving we belong. Next week will be about the quest to win the whole damn thing.

Congratulations to the Panthers on a fantastic season. Congratulations to Garoppolo on a historic year. He's probably taking home the Payton in a couple of days.

JMU only gave up 28.
Delaware only gave up 31.

TU has a really good OL, West is a great back, but the EIU defense might have been the WORST I have seen all season compared to any of the CAA teams, and that includes URI and Albany.

Great hurry up offense, horrible defense, it was like watching ODU out there..

Last night he was, but some teams slowed him down during the season. His lowest 4 rushing totals of the season versus:
VU: 15 carries, 61 yds, 2 TDs
Fordham: 24 carries, 76 yds, 3 TDs
Del State: 16 carrries, 82 yds, 5 TD
JMU: 22 carries, 100 yds, 3 TDs

His other 10 games were 6 in the 100s, 3 in the 200s, and last night 354...

So, in other words, EWU shd have been ranked #2? Gotcha. West looked great bc he was playing against Ovc competition. He wouldn't have done that to ndsu or EWU.

Which brings me to another point. He's accomplished all he can at this level. TU loses their starting QB and 4 5th yr Sr starting OL next season. The shelf life on NFL backs isn't very long. West is already 22. If he plays one more season of college he wouldn't be in the NFL till he was 24. He should declare for the draft after this season.
