UD had the best FCS QBs in the past 12 years...there really can't be any serious debate.

Those who say EWU had the best QBs, as evidenced by the Peyton award finishes, might as well argue that your high school had three or four nice looking prom queens versus another school having three Miss Universes.

Looking at their entire college & pro body of work - no. Looking at just the college accomplishments, EWU fans can argue that they're right up there with DU.

Besides by that standard EWU's QBs were prom queens, DU's were Miss Delawares and Kurt Warner was Miss America. Hah!

Congrats to Keeler. Apparently he beat out among others Mickey Matthews for the job.

I don't know how old Mickey is but he looks older than Keeler. SHSU passed over some other guy that was the favorite because, IIRC, he was pushing 70. Maybe Mickey lost the how-soon-will-he-retire tiebreaker to KC as well.

I'm happy for KC and wager that he will win a national championship for SHSU like he did for UD.

So Bo Levi and Padron were home grown talents. Here's a stat for you...the previous three UD quarterbacks before Andy Hall were Jeff Komlo, Scott Brunner, and Rich Gannon. All of whom started in the NFL, all of whom were recruited. What Hall, Flacco, Devlin, Komlo, Brunner, and Gannon all have in common...they aren't the all time leading passers at our school. Current Chiefs QB coach Matt Nagy holds that honor. There is 1 QB U in the FCS...

That being said...I think this Adams kid is the real deal. I really liked watching him play. He's got just enough swagger but isn't over the top. EWU is my favorite right now for that NC title.
