This is what you're supposed to do when a team as bad as Dreadful Delaware comes to town.
You're supposed to tear it apart, limb by limb, the instant the national anthem ends.

You're supposed to eat it alive. You're supposed to render it hopeless. You're supposed to be wiping your mouth and ordering dessert by halftime.

So, good for Pitt...

...You saw the opponent. Dreadful Delaware was as bad as advertised. This is a team that lost to Navy and Maine by a combined score of 113-35 last season, a team that was called for delay of game as it lined up for the second-half kickoff...

I'll take DSU plus (minus-?) the points. I'll take St. Francis plus the points. I'll take...

Ya know, losing 62-0 to Pitt sucks hard, but losing to Central Connecticut State by any score sucks even harder.
I'm going with this, but that Albany comeback against HC will really energize the CAA, too :dunce:

I'm not buying the Delaware Divas whining and carrying on. Suck it up, Nancys. You're 0-1, just like 7 other teams in the CAA --- and you could easily be 5-1 when you play the Towson Neutered Felines in October. Shut-up, and play football.

Delaware commits substantial resources to football, and that's not going to change. Three dingo stooges could win 8-9 games/year at Delaware, and 2014 is no different. Chancellor Cheerleader and Chuckles the AD left Boone before their poop went stank. At least your guys have a good chance to right your disaster.

We don't want 8 or 9 wins a year. We want a seventh national championship. And that's not happening again any time soon.

The current cast is a disgrace to the uniform and the organizational history. At least die trying.

So this knocks Delaware out of the BCS championship race. I'm sure their fanbase is disappointed.

But no worries, little ol' DSU comes up to Newark next week. The chest beating will recommence then.

As bad as the loss was, DSU proved they suck too. I'd go with something like UD 27 DSU 17.

We have no run defense, UD by three TDs

Brock has a plan. It involves trying, but not actually being successful.

No one on GoHens has mentioned that bringing in 20+ freshmen, and planning on doing the same thing next year, will leave the program way out of balance for years to come. We could have used a few schollies on transfers to balance things out, but we only settled for a third string QB and a DB that isn't going to wow anyone. :dunce:

BTW, we lost Battle and Tinsey. Time to start using the injury excuse.

Brock is finding out that 63 schollies is way different than 85.

Scary part is that we still have a shot at the playoffs...soft schedule.

I stayed for the whole game Andy, not that there was any benefit but I figured if I invested 8+ hours in the roundtrip I might as well see the game.

UD got trounced every which way - the game was never a game. Our D-Line is bad. Lots of questions starting to arise if Brock is "rebuilding" the program i the right way. We're not going to be a 2014 playoff team, 2015 looks worse to me.

UD will be lucky to win 6 games. They aren't going to win many battles at the line of scrimmage this year.. as they are physically and athletically lacking on both sides of the ball. To make a bad situation even worse.. they have no depth in either of those very weak areas. It's tough to win games.. when you are continually getting your ass kicked up front.
