Yep. I've gone to every Cup race at Dover since 1975, except for my military years in the late 90s and one Sunday rainout a couple of years ago where I couldn't come back Monday due to fiscal year end buying.
I may take my sons to Cup qualifying and the K&N East race this afternoon. They've never been to a race yet and I need to fix that.

It will be raining streamers so thick it will block out the sun..

If I remember the quote from "300" correctly, I guess the appropriate reply should be, "....then we shall play in the shade....".
A true game of clown football between two brutally bad teams.
It was as if both teams were trying to lose. Missed extra points, turnovers, penalties. Delaware went up 16-6, realized that they might win and then did everything they could to give the game away. JMU tied it up and just when it looked like they might get the ball back they gave up an 86 yard TD.

Agreed. I renewed season tickets last year because they finally canned Keeler, and it only took me one season to see that Brock is even worse. He's not a leader or motivator of men.
The funny thing is, we have Sacred Heart, Elon, and Towson the next three weeks, so we will quite possibly be a top 10 team at 6-1. So it will seem like an epic fail in the second half of the season when we start playing decent teams, even though anyone who actually watches this team knows it is dreadful.
Well, I was only mildly surprised since I had picked JMU by 4. I was stunned at the low scoring nature of the game (13-6 until midway through the 4th qtr when I thought these teams would combine in the 60s or 70s).
JMU had enough mistakes and blown opportunites to fulfill several games. Many of those ultimately fall on the HC. We followed up a necessary fire with I'm now convinced a bad hire. There was a reason Withers was a career assistant. Another 6-6 here we come!

Well, 93, I was in section 205, turn 2. My ushering score: one possible heart attack (summoned EMTs), one abandoned beer cooler (summoned security when not picked up for 10 minutes). Two Mexicans showed up later, 10 minutes apart, looking for their cooler, both 5 sheets to the wind, and I sent them to security. One shrugged and went to the rail looking for Danica's car. Murica.
