Actually I see now that most of your posts are about the Griz. So, you're probably just another one of the legion of EWU or MSU trolls trying to come up with some fresh schtick

That team is going to have a hard time winning games with that bad of an offense/defense.
GRIZ 18-15 over UND ( field goal as time ran out to win). Ewu 54-3 over UND, and that was with 12:10 left in the 4th.
Great use of the transitive property there, sir. We all know it's entirely accurate when measuring games. To completely contradict your point. Northern Colorado played within 8 points of EWU, while they lost to Montana by 25. So if you compared UNC to UND through EWU, they'd slaughter UND. But if you compared the two through Montana, UND would slaughter UNC. Glad we could see you stretch your intelligence to find some hard nosed facts though.

Well, comparing scores is a long way from perfect but it does have some predictive value. I guarantee you if you wait until the season is over then go back over every Big Sky game the team that did better against common opponents in each case will have won a substantial majority of the time. But the chances of that not happening are also pretty good so there's still a lot of uncertainty.
Another thing you can look at is a power rating like Sagarin's. At this point of the season that is nothing BUT a variation of the "transitive property" you're talking about and Sagarin's ratings have correctly predicted winners of FBS vs. FBS games 75 percent of the time so far this season. And really the performance of the system in full swing is probably better than that because the 75 percent includes early season games that had to be predicted before there had been enough games to "connect" all the teams.
Nevertheless, it's not uncommon for team A to beat team B, team B to beat team C, then have team C beat team A.
Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star? Deep Purple: No One Came

Meh, we have very few trolls, and the ones we do have are very overt.
IMO, Ranger has NEVER been a troll, and the EWU fans that have exhibited "trollish" behavior in the past have mellowed out for the most part....
