Big Sky Predictions - Week 11
Montana 31-27 EWU — Quarterback questions abound, but the Griz O & D will do just enough
Suutah 31-38 Sac State — No fluke win for the T-Birds this time
Cal Poly 35-32 Idaho St. — I'm not sure any offense in FCS controls a game like Cal Poly's
Davis 24-38 NAU — Souers picks up win #100 as the Aggies keep wasting Gabe Manzanares's senior season
Portland St. 20-41 Montana St. — It's November for the Bobcats, but Portland State is bad
Weber 17-13 NoDak — NoDak's offense has gone from bad to clown show in the last 2 weeks

UM at EWU - If Adams doesn't play then UM cruises to victory.
SUU at Sac State - Hornets need to win out so salvage any kind of respectability on the season.
CP at ISU - CP controls the tempo and more importantly keeps ISU's offense off the field in doing so.
cal davis at NAU - NAU wins a close one.
PSU at MSU - Bobcats win easily.
WSU at UND - WSU wins to avoid the cellar.

Re: Big Sky Predictions - Week 11
You guys have much wisdom, but none have the right picks.
Montana upsets E. Washington in wild one.
Sac State rebounds with win over So. Utah
Cal Poly overturns Krammer's Bengal express.
No Arizona wins an easy one.
Montana State has another Weber type scare but wins in the end.
No Dakota has just enough at home to down the error prone Weber St 2014 addition.

EWU
Sac
CP
NAU
MSU
BBQ
IF any of my picks lose, the most likely will be NAU starting on their annual late-season swoon. But even if the swoon starts here, given the state of the Manure Pile, I think that this would just turn into an ugly NAU win, and the losses start NEXT week. That's IF the swoon happens, and it does NOT appear that there's any guarantee of that happening THIS year....

I don't think ANYONE can predict what the amazing Grizomatic will do in ANY given situation. I wish he'd post more.jackrabbit wrote:That is true....you can always count on Griz fans ...they are so predictable

Montana 31-34 EWU Eagles are too much to handle on tampax field
SUU 31-48 Sac State Still trying to make sense of the thunderbirds collapse they lose in Sac Town.
Cal Poly 35-42 Idaho St. The bengals miracle season continues.
Davis 14-38 NAU NAU didnt look good in the 1at Quarter last week. Davis hasn't looked good all year.
Portland St. 20-41 Montana St. Bobcats are too much at home for the vikings of Portland.
Weber 24-14 NoDak. No Dak being down to their 3rd string QB and having 2WR's quit this week is just too much to over come for the No-Nicks.

I took the time to look at NAU's record for the month of November leading back to the 2002 season up through the 2013 season. 18 wins and 21 losses. 9 wins and 6 losses since 2010. 2004, 2008 and 2009 were definitely "swoons" with an O-fer November those three years.
UC Davis seems to be down a bit but just about any team in this conference is capable of making things interesting. A loss to Southern Utah at the end of the season wouldn't surprise me one bit. The road team seems to have the upper hand in this new rivalry.
NAU's losses at UNC and USD certainly do look bad but this team is also winning games it wouldn't have in the past (EWU and Cal Poly). Definitely a different beast at home than on the road. That's usually the case with a young team. No matter how the season ends, it's been much more successful than most predicted.

Re: Big Sky Predictions - Week 11
64-16 for the season, another quest for perfection...
CP at ISU---I'll say it, the new conference game of the week. The Bengals at home where they don't disappoint. The Mustangs due for a letdown after sweeping the Montana schools...ISU 38, CP 34.
UM at EWU---The old conference game of the week. The Eagles back up and rolling after thrashing North Dakota and the Grizzlies struggling for a win on the road...EWU 42, UM 21.
PSU at MSU---The Bobcats eager to get back on track after falling at Cal Poly last week. The Vikings in their familiar November role of playing spoiler instead of planning for the playoffs...MSU 45, PSU 20.
SUU at SAC---Both the Hornets and Thunderbirds are dying to ruin someone's season and are poised to do that. But here all they can do is ruin each other's season...SAC 31, SUU 28.
UCD at NAU---The Lumberjacks can beat anyone in their home barn, but it is on the road where they stuggle. It doesn't matter for the Aggies, they struggle everywhere...NAU 38, UCD 10.
WSU at UND---The Wildcats have been in almost every game yet can't find a way to win yet. The No-Names didn't show up last week, hopefully they show up at home...WSU 20, UND 16.

Re: Big Sky Predictions - Week 11
SDHornet and SuperHornet - sorry, I think you're giving the Aggies too much credit. It won't be close. They played one-half of one quarter last week, we've never beaten NAU, it's an away game and it's at 7000 feet. If we win it's because NAU gives up or maybe we play our first complete game of the year except we're saving that for a game in two more weeks.
Edit: Closer than I expected but still a loss. They did play half a game though.

Not necessarily the scores, but it is perfection. 6-0. 70-16 for the season.JALMOND wrote:64-16 for the season, another quest for perfection...

SH nailed it regarding NAU, for whatever reasons they typically under perform when the chips are on the table late in the season. The Jacks still pulled it out but a team atop the BSC should not struggle at home against you guys.

VA played, therefore my pick was wrong. Had I know he would have played I would have went with EWU.UM at EWU - If Adams doesn't play then UM cruises to victory.

Sac had a dominating game against a weaker BSC team. Bodes well for us given we have other cellar dwellers on the schedule to finish out the season.
