You are correct by the rule book 6 D1 wins MAY get a look. Each committee sets their own guidelinesSapper wrote:According to the AD at Idaho State he also sits on the selection committee the 7 D1 wins was only for a 18 team playoff. Now that there is a 24 team it is 6 D1 wins.

Usually when filling out an empty bracket the team you put on top is the host. I guess he didn't specify, but that's usually the assumption.JayJ79 wrote:this bracket doesn't indicate who would be hosting.MTfan4life wrote:If Montana State makes it, there's no way they don't host that first round game.

JMU is one of the few teams that might be able to outbid Montana but I don't think they'll be matched against each other. Both would submit strong bids and as Jay mentioned, the NCAA would prefer to get more $$$$ if at all possible.Gil Dobie wrote:I can see JMU going to Montana.grizband wrote:If the Griz are sent on the road,I can't imagine they would play at JMU in the first round

That bracketing is for crap. If CCU beats Liberty, they HAVE to be #1. EWU MUST be #2. You can put NDSU at #3. UNH would have to be in the conversation, too. I can't see Jax State up there (the coaches must have been taking the looney pills on THAT one), but you kinda-sorta gotta go with the poll, at least as far at it makes sense, right?
CCU is #1 until they lose....

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

He's been swimming with Nessie. Coastal, IMO, should be seeded no lower than #4. 3 or 4 seed is probably where we'll end up and where we deserve to be.Grizalltheway wrote:Please stop talking.SuperHornet wrote:That bracketing is for crap. Undefeated CCU could be 2-4, depending on the committee.Ibanez wrote:He's been swimming with Nessie. Coastal, IMO, should be seeded no lower than #4. 3 or 4 seed is probably where we'll end up and where we deserve to be.Grizalltheway wrote:

Their two best wins are against Richmond and W&M who are both 7-4 and play each other this weekend. Conversely and depending on how things go this weekend, EWU could have wins against 9-3 MSU, 8-4 ISU, 8-4 and conference champ SHSU, and 7-5 Montana with the one FCS loss being on the road to a decent NAU team without VA.Gil Dobie wrote:New Hampshire has not lost a FCS game this year.SuperHornet wrote:That bracketing is for crap. I don't think it will happen, but you could easily make a case that EWU has a good a resume as UNH.

If MSU ends up 8-4 so will UM. I guess we know who you're rooting for this weekend.kalm wrote:Their two best wins are against Richmond and W&M who are both 7-4 and play each other this weekend. We'd then have wins over 4 8-4 ranked teams. UNH would have one win over a ranked team. Still not bad and worthy of debate.Grizalltheway wrote:If MSU ends up 8-4 so will UM. I guess we know who you're rooting for this weekend.kalm wrote:

That's a good resume, but I was just responding to CCU's undefeated record vs a one loss UNH team. Still games to be played. EWU has a good resume and probably should be a top 4 seed.kalm wrote:Their two best wins are against Richmond and W&M who are both 7-4 and play each other this weekend. If that's the bracket MSU loses "on purpose" to avoid playing NDSU.Gil Dobie wrote:Fargo Sports writter Dom Izzo's bracket.

Assuming both win out and finish at 8-4, I think the chances of Montana traveling somewhere for a first round game are slim to none.Purple Reign wrote:Send Montana to UNI and EKU to JMUGil Dobie wrote:Fargo Sports writter Dom Izzo's bracket.
