And I missed it but there's Montana going on the road for a first round game too.
this bracket doesn't indicate who would be hosting.

You are correct by the rule book 6 D1 wins MAY get a look. Each committee sets their own guidelines

Usually when filling out an empty bracket the team you put on top is the host. I guess he didn't specify, but that's usually the assumption.

I can see JMU going to Montana.
JMU is one of the few teams that might be able to outbid Montana but I don't think they'll be matched against each other. Both would submit strong bids and as Jay mentioned, the NCAA would prefer to get more $$$$ if at all possible.

That bracketing is for crap. If CCU beats Liberty, they HAVE to be #1. EWU MUST be #2. You can put NDSU at #3. UNH would have to be in the conversation, too. I can't see Jax State up there (the coaches must have been taking the looney pills on THAT one), but you kinda-sorta gotta go with the poll, at least as far at it makes sense, right?

CCU is #1 until they lose....

If you go to Coastal Fans, most of the posters there don't agree with that.

He's been swimming with Nessie. Coastal, IMO, should be seeded no lower than #4. 3 or 4 seed is probably where we'll end up and where we deserve to be.

Undefeated CCU could be 2-4, depending on the committee.

New Hampshire has not lost a FCS game this year.
Their two best wins are against Richmond and W&M who are both 7-4 and play each other this weekend. Conversely and depending on how things go this weekend, EWU could have wins against 9-3 MSU, 8-4 ISU, 8-4 and conference champ SHSU, and 7-5 Montana with the one FCS loss being on the road to a decent NAU team without VA.

I don't think it will happen, but you could easily make a case that EWU has a good a resume as UNH.

If MSU ends up 8-4 so will UM. I guess we know who you're rooting for this weekend. :ohno:

We'd then have wins over 4 8-4 ranked teams. UNH would have one win over a ranked team. Still not bad and worthy of debate.

That's a good resume, but I was just responding to CCU's undefeated record vs a one loss UNH team. Still games to be played. EWU has a good resume and probably should be a top 4 seed.

If that's the bracket MSU loses "on purpose" to avoid playing NDSU.

Assuming both win out and finish at 8-4, I think the chances of Montana traveling somewhere for a first round game are slim to none.
