CatMom...I said TX ST wanted this one...they have had Moses number for three years...YES...My Griz are too beat up on defense too stop anyone right now...just too many injuries so a bye week will be very good for them...now if PSU can only beat Eastern this evening to tie the BSC into knots

SUU takes an early lead over the Aggies after a 73 yard interception return for a touchdown, great start :thumb:

About 5 minutes in the first SUU kicks a field goal, now lead 10-0 over Aggies :thumb:

SAM had the ball at the 10 with 3 seconds left. Guess they didn't make it. OT for this one.

Northwestern State scored on their first drive of OT. Forced SHU into a 4th and Goal from about the 30...and SHU converted...Unreal.

2nd OT incoming.

So if Lamar really does not count, SAM is out of at large eligibility, leaving SFA and UCA with the possibility of 7 DI wins. UCA would have to win out to do so. SFA needs to win 2 of 3.

SAM or SFA could still take conference and get the AQ though
Remaining games SFA seems to have the easiest go of it
SFA - Nicholls, Southeastern, Northwestern
UCA - TXST, SAM, McNeese
SAM - McNeese, UCA, TXST

oops, McNeese is 3-1 in conf now so they could also still get the AQ
Games left
SAM, TXST, UCA - SFA has the tie-breaker right now, so unless MSU takes conf outright, they're out.

I was actually really rooting for Georgia State in this game, I've heard nothing but cocky, ignorant things about South Alabama's program.

It's also amazing, been reading GSU's website panthertalk.com and some of their fans are already calling for coaches to get fired. :ohno: One thing is for sure and thats the fact they've come crashing back down to earth. Some of them are already talking about USA and ODU being entirely different games next year once they get us in the Dome. Guess they don't realize ODU is 6-1 on the road in the first year and a half of having football. :thumb:

GSU fans aren't patient. That's really their main issue and leads to their unrealistic expectations. They're analyzing everything way too deeply when the simple answer to all their questions is that they're a first year program. GSU fans should just have fun with what they now have and stop thinking about everything else too much.

Makes me think there's no way that Poly can make it past Davis and USD and become playoff eligible. St. Francis lost to LU by 45.

And that's not a even score derived in garbage time......

Box Score: http://64.246.64.33/merge/tsnform.aspx? ... MEID=28810" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

SFPA - 12
CP - 13
Halftime

SFPA - 19
CP - 27
End 3Q

SFPA went tit for tat in the 4th quarter as well. :thumb:

But the NEC is terrible right? :kisswink: (not directed at you specifically Mvemjsunpx) ...............lets see: our last place team travelled all the way across the country to CP's homecoming and was very respectable with 373 total yards.

Oh by the way, Albany played SFPA for its homecoming too - 48-0 Albany. SFPA had a total of 81 yards. :dunce:

And somehow Robert Morris not ranked in every single poll?

This result was just plain disturbing. I'm not sure it has anything to do with the NEC. SFPA is a club that even a mediocre FCS team should crush; they are the NEC's version of Idaho State. I have no idea why this game was close.
