Interesting thing about this offense....you take what the defense gives you. Cal Poly gave us the passing game, we responded with 250 yards and 2 TD's through the air. EWU gave us the running lanes, we responded with 316 yards on the ground in just 46 carries. Doing what it takes to win...that's all that matters. It doesn't have to be "pretty"...I really don't care if it's a "slop fest". We're 2-1 when you predicted 1-3 after 4 games and as you said, Sac seems to be imploding so you can try to spin this any way you want but fact remains you grossly underestimated the Griz. Or, you were just angling for a fight.cats2506 wrote:Well I guess somebodey did have to win that slop fest.AZGrizFan wrote:
I'm sorry...I thought we won that game.
Seriously though, EWU/BLM sucked, credit to the fizz D, but I am still not sold on Pflu offense, JJ (QB) is the leading rusher with 100+, 34 yards total passing, anybody can go up tempo if you run the same play over and over, Canada lookes like a RB, WTF McNight, what happened to Sambrano. 17 points wont win many BSC games, EWU D looks average now, DL below average, LB's Average, Secondary above average. Sucks about Tripp, I kinda liked him.
BTW Weber looks to be for real, Sac seems to be imploding, jury is still out on NAU/PSU, UNC really really looks bad, ISU has Kramer so all bets are off.

I don't think I underestimated um, I think they are about what I thought they would be, I DID overestimate EWU, If you want to dig for it, I posted somewhere that I thought um would score about 20 but it wouldn't be enough to beat EWU. You can say that the reason is because of um's D but I don't think that tells the whole story, EWU's OL is dropping like flies and in the game yesterday BLM had some bad passes without anybody in his face, also had receivers drop the ball when it hit their hands. Their DL looks like they don't care any more, something is going on there that wasn't expected.AZGrizFan wrote:Interesting thing about this offense....you take what the defense gives you. It may sound like I'm waffling a bit on SAC too, but I didn't know they were going to be as bi-polar as they are this year.
If SAC gets their shit together I think they could beat any team in the conf, I just dont know if they can do that or not though.

Six of one, half dozen of another....Sac & EWU are underperforming, but Weber & PSU are overperforming....cats2506 wrote:I don't think I underestimated um, I think they are about what I thought they would be, I DID overestimate EWU, If you want to dig for it, I posted somewhere that I thought um would score about 20 but it wouldn't be enough to beat EWU. That gimmicky offense is 8-2 in it's last ten FCS games. What's MSU's record in it's last 10 FCS games?cats2506 wrote:glad you agree that um still has a gimmicky offense that sucksAZGrizFan wrote:

I can SMELL the fear in the Bobscats fans as they are beginning to realize this Griz offense is rounding into form, the players are buying into it and by 11/19, with almost two full years of practice, training and drills it'll be honed to precision and ready to shove the ball down the 'scats throats repeatedly (no homo)....keep trying to convince yourselves it's "gimmicky"....it's getting the job done.
