My wife had on the movie Steel Magnolias the other night and it had a scene from inside the Northwestern State locker room. Northwestern State fans must be very proud .

Not exactly an fcs sighting but I thought it was pretty cool, was watching a recap of high school football last year and found out that the oldest rivalry in the state of Washington is the Hoquiam Grizzles (maroon and silver with the same helmet logo) and the Aberdeen Bobcats (blue and gold)

also the other day at work, a coworker was wearing a William & Mary shirt and knowing how little knowledge there is of fcs I asked if she had any idea what it was and she had no idea, she had stolen it from a friend

I saw a guy in a ODU t-shirt at the gym with his buddy in a UMASS t-shirt. They were spotting each other on bench at like 115 lbs.

I was camping in southwest Colorado the last few days and since it was pouring the entire time and the girls were bitching, we went to a couple of nearby towns. Saw an SIU t-shirt in Silverton and then a Colgate sweatshirt in Telluride.

Saw my son with a Sac State hoodie, packing it in his luggage so he can wear it when he gets to camp because it is only 89 degrees there as opposed to 109 here in Palm Desert.

Bout 3 weeks ago a guy came to my register wearing a UCA tee. I said "Don't see many of those shirts around here" He was shocked I knew what/where UCA is. He and wife both attended and daughter will start this fall.

Last Monday, while waiting for a traffic light, I was behind a car with a Tennessee State plate frame.
Last Thursday I sat at that same line behind a car with a Jacksonville State plate frame.

I-77 exit 28 in lovely Cornelius, NC ...

A dude named Mike was working the Deli at Cashion's, and wearing a Michigan cap. I asked him if the *M* stood for Mountaineers. He didn't get it.

He said that was where Rodriguez used to coach, and we had a short discussion regarding UM and the 'Spread' in the Big10 (he was not a fan of the concept - apparently this is a subject of great debate in UM circles).

He finally figured out what I was talking about when the discussion turned to the QB as an 'athlete' in the spread, referencing the threat of what someone like AE could do to a Big10 defense :D

Had to swallow my Cal Poly pride and wear a UC Davis Dad shirt for my daughter who graduated herself from Cal Poly last June and received a doctoral fellowship to Davis. So in the background you can see both Poly and Davis flags flying. Polishing off the bottle of Crystal Skull vodka helped the celebration go smoothly lol... I'm building a horseshoe pit on the side of my house designed after the annual Horseshoe Classic game between Poly and Davis for the Golden Horseshoe. I'll attach a 3D model I created.

Met a worker at the casino this week whose son redshirted at UNH this past year. He said he visited UD, JMU, etc.. but only got a full offer from UNH. I had noticed the UNH screensaver on his computer and asked him about it. Nice guy. :thumb:

Spent the weekend at a family reunion in Reno, NV:

Saw a guy wearing a UNI hat  checking in in front of me. Not sure why he'd want to leave IOWAWESOME, but he did.

Sat at a roulette table with a Sac State grad....who spent the entire time alternating between lamenting Sac State's record against the Griz and staring at the Griz Goddess's cleavage....

Apparently, first and last. :D

Maybe if you complimented the guy a little sooner he would have stuck around. :ohno:

Met with an investigator who is a The Citadel grad at work last week. Also have an Appy State Army Lt. Col that works with me. The engineer across the hall from me has a son going to Villanova. Lots of FCS talk goes on in my office.

Perhaps he knew about Andy's reputation around these parts and made the wise decision and just left.
