Haven't seen it updated, but UND falls less than a half yard short on 4th down and lose to San Diego State 49-41. Terrible defensive performance again from UND.

EWU is licking their chops:
Weber has HC Jody Sears, who Baldwin and OC Best know well, defense gave up 557 yards to McNeese.
UM's green secondary gave up 321 and 2TDs/1INT through the air.
UND doesn't know what defense is at all.
SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

They would be if Kyle Padron could actually complete passes…
39 completions
87 attempts
44.8%
And he's only had 3 weeks and 4 weeks with his WRs/offense at the time of those games. By the time of the Griz game, he'll have had an additional 3. Even still, he's averaging 20 yards per completion.
Where the hell is the defense we had against Wisconsin?
It's starting to look like Wisconsin isn't real good on offense by BCS league standards. 7 against Oregon State the week before and 16 against Utah State yesterday. It was still a great effort by UNI but it does look like Wisconsin has kind of a hard time putting points on the board.

Saw some mention of the Sam Houston/Baylor game. Had the game on TV here. After playing really well in the first half the BearKats couldn't get out of their own way in the second. Fumbled on the first possession of the half to give Baylor the ball at about their 10. Baylor scored. Then on the first play of the second possession the QB was in shotgun and the center snapped it while he wasn't looking. They got the ball inside their own five but it put them in a bad field position situation that was eventually a factor in Baylor getting another score to take the lead 24-20. Then the first play of the fourth quarter with the score still 24-20 they're going for it on fourth and goal inside the one. Quarterback turns to hand to ball off, trips over a pulling offensive lineman and goes down. Tackled by his own player.
In the fourth quarter I think their defense got tired and also they had to get into "have to pass" mode. But they had a chance to be in a lot better position going into the fourth quarter and just had a Keystone Cops performance to prevent that.

Yup. Make mistakes against a team like that and you're gunna go down. Still a really impressive first half and I was really impressed with their all-around talent. It didn't look lile your typical FCS-BCS team match-up. Sam Houston looks really good IMO.

Yes. At halftime I posted on the McNeese Delphi board that Sam Houston didn't look "out athleted" at all during the first half. Just too bad they stared the Keystone Cops stuff immediately after halftime.
The guys calling the game kept talking about Baylor's speed but Sam Houston State looked at least as fast to me. Except Baylor does have a really fast quarterback. I wasn't expecting that. I figured the fast quarterback thing with Baylor was over when RGIII left. Of course the new guy isn't THAT fast. But he's fast. That was a big factor in the game.
