Looks like WSU decided to forget to show up for last week and this week they didn't even bother getting off the bus.

70-0 with time left in the 3rd QUARTER!!!

I think I'm going to :puke:

Barely pulling out an OT shootout against a D-II/NAIA crossover has got to be the most disgusting thing I've ever heard.

I think it's Big Cat time....

I'm guessing Jordan Johnson will get Big Sky POW honors while Jimmy Garoppolo will likely get the national POW award.

Southern University QB Dray Joseph should get SWAC offensive player of the week honors 480 yds passing in that "defensive struggle" vs Prairie View. Lovelocke the QB for PVAM had 353 yds.

This is the same McNeese that destroyed South Florida.
Actually West Alabama led 35-31 at the end of the third quarter. It was a very intense game with McNeese never leading by more than 3 and West Alabama never leading by more than 7. West Alabama has, I think, the best set of skill position players McNeese will see this year. They have this quarterback who is very nimble and quick and can throw on the run from any angle. He's right handed but he can be running to his left towards the line of scrimmage very convincingly looking like he's running the ball then suddenly fire it 30 yards downfield right on the money. They have two huge receivers that can run. Several instances of the quarterback just throwing it up to them knowing what they can do and having them just out muscle McNeese defenders for the ball. They have a running back who is on the Senior Bowl Watch list and he's unbelievable. I think he's at least as good as Tim Flanders. And I"m serious. They have an all purpose player who can fly. Very, very difficult offense to deal with.

A quote from McNeese head coach Matt Viator after the game that I think accurately describes the situation:
“I’m just glad to get a win,” said a relieved Matt Viator, Cowboys head coach. “We’re 3-0, and I’ll take it. I was scared to death of this team, and nobody (in the public) believed me. I think our kids did. But it’s hard to simulate what they did with their quarterback running and releasing it at the last second like he did.”
South Florida pretty much sucks by the way. Might be the worst automatic qualifier team ever. Awful offense as is becoming clear after scoring only 10 points against Florida Atlantic. I think Taggart may end up regretting leaving Western Kentucky to go there.
Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?
