Really? I understand they doled out some beatdowns this year, and their QB has the inside track on the Payton Award...but really?

EIU is undefeated against FCS, they crushed a bowl-bound FBS team, and they nearly beat current #16 Northern Illinois.

And on the flip side, EWU beat a ranked BCS team, wins against two ranked FCS teams, and played a much tougher schedule. Plus, there's the history of the two conferences in the playoffs...

Sorry Eastern Washington fans but I can't see this team winning a game in the playoffs. I have watched 3 games and from what I have seen this team would give up 40+ points to any playoff team and if they run into a team that can play a little "D" they are F'ed. Maybe I'm just disappointed in this team but I expected a lot more. I think they had a better team last year.

Yeah, because EWU has never come back from 14, 19, and nearly 35 point deficits in the playoffs before.

That's a gut check going into the playoffs. EWU will be better for it. However TRUE Eag fans weren't surprised by that bc Portland state plays eastern tough every year!! That kicker is on suicide watch tonight.
