The new seating and football tower have not only expanded the fan experience, they have become impressive campus markers and symbols of the direction Liberty hopes to take all Flames sports programs.
“It is already helping to recruit the best football players and I believe it will be the catalyst that will take Liberty Flames football to the FBS (NCAA Division I-A) in years to come,” Falwell said.

So are you guys leaning Sunbelt, MAC, or independent?

I'd think MAC or CUSA or Big East, depending on when we're moving up and what the landscape is like in FBS.

Thanks for your well thought out response, but if there is Big East attrition by the time we're ready to move up, then it's more likely than you think. Or some kind of Big East split to accommodate teams on the east coast that want to move up.
