One of the three ODU running backs is transferring. RS Soph Angus Harper said he is transferring after playing time has diminished. 74 carries for 262 yards and 5 TD's, 22 receptions for 227 yards and 2 TD's.
If we are running 80+ offensive plays, we better stay healthy because it will be tough to have just one RB out their running, blocking, and receiving.

Now that you guys are going to be big time, get used to your disgruntled people transferring for immediate PT. There are some FCS schools out there who have had some success with transfers. :winky:

Just a great story with a bunch of good quotes about the emotions involved in the game and what was accomplished by our first recruiting class:
We didn’t want it to end like this,” said senior linebacker Craig Wilkins, a four-year starter and four-year captain.

“But four years ago, if you’d told us it would end like this, a lot of people would have not believed it. We were in the Elite Eight, in the playoffs. When we first got here expectations weren’t very high.

“Losing is a big disappointment to us right now. But it just shows far we came in just four years.”

Coach Bobby Wilder said it will take time, but all of his players eventually will have the same perspective.

He recalls that when Wilkins and ODU’s other seniors signed on to help the school begin football, there were no facilities in place and no football history or tradition at the school

He said those players helped ODU build a tradition, that includes a 38-10 record and 29 consecutive sellouts at Foreman Field.

Also, it's looking more and more like Albany will be our 6th home game next year.
