Don't worry JBB Sioux Falls will be joining your Dakota Big 3 soon. Since Omaha is joining the Summit League, it won't be long before Sioux Falls joins as well. Because the Summit (NCC 2.0) will take any team except the Elite. The Elite Dakota 1 is Big Sky all the way!!!

UND will be accepted into the Big Sky when the nickname issue is resolved. The NCAA said no to the nickname so UND has already gone to restart the retirement process. The name will be gone by Dec. 31st of 2011.

The lawsuit doesn't matter to the NCAA because it was filed in tribal court which outside the Reservations mean nothing. If they filed it in Federal Court then the nickname change could possibly be on hold. But it may be too late. Special session coming up November 7th and the state law should be repealed unless Bison Alum Al Carlson gets his way again.

If they won would UND honor the Tribe and The Indian Nation abiding by the terms, using the nickname and surrendering the revenues, or would UND bow to state law? This might be the crux Darell?

This might be the issue that will make UND show its true colors. If they are honoring the Tribes by using the nickname they would abide by the lawsuit, use the name and surrender the revenues to the Tribe.

If size doesn't matter Why did former NDSU president Joe Chapman use tuition waviers to lure more students into the school then the Bison fanbase use that to blast UND as "NDSU is the biggest school in the Dakota's". Just go on Bisonville, or the internet and you will see Bison fan after Bison fan brag about how many more students go to NDSU instead of UND (thanks Grandpa Joe for the free education). Oh did I mention he left and NDSU had to bump up tuition 8.8% because the state will NOT give NDSU the money to make up for Grandpa Joe's free education school.

I would expect more from you than this comment but apparently I'm expecting to much. Just answer one question, why not have the state fund both schools equally per student? Don't sidestep the question just give an honest answer?
