NDSU has the largest body of knowledge ever assembled on the option. Its a flawed attack, they all are in some way, but all you have to do is take away the big play and it becomes a gind it out run game. The NDSU Defense wins most of those as they did today.

The real story here is the NDSU BISON offense. They got everything they wanted. They wont fold with mistakes like the Montana offense. Those drives will end in scores not fumbles or INTs. Its going to be an interesting game, SHSU might be a little faster than GSU, but really, how are they different?

Ever heard of West Point or the Naval Academy?

I'm on your side if you don't know it. But the f#$king triple option? I get GSU and their history. Used to be the Triple Option ruled the Big 12. Guess what? It's a dinosaur ran by military schools and midwest high schools. If you guys win this, I'll be ecstatic. Don't F#$% this up, or we'll be looking at that ugly Bizzzon logo at the top of this Forum page for a whole freakin' year! I just don't think you got this one GSU.

P.S. Not sure what Eagle is talking about we've never played EWU. USD played them this year though.....

With all due respect this isn't some midwest highscool or Military FBS school trying to compete with vastly superior opponents. Take this as an East Coast Bias but I'll take the athletes in the SOCON over the MVC anyday of the week. And this isn't your dad's triple option. We've mixed dozens of new looks and formations borrowing heavily from spread option and pistol looks until the other team isn't exactly sure what they'll see next. Reverses, screens, we've even proven that when we need it, we have a formidable passing game. Because of the success of coaches Paul Johnson and Jeff Monken we're likely to see a 2nd wave of mid major FBS schools begin to adopt triple option fundamentals into their playbooks over the next decade. UAB wanted to interview our Head coach a week ago before he turned them down.



I'm sure the NDSU coaches and players already know this but they're not going to be able to bring their B+ game in on defense and come out with a W. It's going to take everything they got physically and mentally and even then it may or may not be good enough. Any coach will tell you it's god awfully hard to prepare for. Win or lose I guarantee those Bison players are going to have an all new respect for this style when the game is over.

Hey GSU you should have switched from the High School Triple Option to a real offense two years ago when you had the chance. That thing was slow and you got pwned. Thanks a lot you @$$ hats.....now NDSU is going to win this thing. I'm glad NDSU put that last TD in, just to show you how futile your team is.

John Pike's strip of the GSU te by the goal line was a GAME CHANGER!

and Brandon Jemison's stop on 4th down in 4th quarter on the goal line was crazy!
