Sad story. Perhaps you guys should learn to "thin out the herd" and get rid of the weaker bison.

Well, since the Administration of this site is a Griz fan......perhaps the Griz should be thining out the sick Bison (and you know to what Bison I refer). I am sure if that was done the HERD on this site would grow and be stronger.

Interesting board and topics and opinions. I am LSU grad and an impartial reader of this board and in my Cajun opinion I say SPEED kills and Sam Houston State has lots and lots of speed. I pick Sam Houston State to win by 4 pts in what should be a shoot out between two quality teams.

There are a lot of people thinking NDSU doesn't have any speed. They might not have a Flanders, but they have some speed, enough to beat a couple teams that said NDSU was a big slow northern team. The biggest concern as a Bison fan is the short passes that could turn into long gains, that have been trouble for the Bison in the past. A Pick-six could be the difference in this game.

I think our defense holds them to less than 30, maybe less than 20. IMO, both of our lines are better compared to SHSU's. This game will be won in the trenches and the Bison's lines are better.

Aside from NoDak State's advantage in special teams, I think the key to this game is preparation time. Sam Houston does things in a very unconventional manner, but I think NDSU had plenty of time to get ready for the oddities. The Bearkats are good & are practically at home, though, so it should be a close one.

He is a friend of a certain Sioux Lover I hear. Finally figured out who he is.

It took a year of Big Sky fans bringing up his name, but after reading all your post I figured out he must have been an official in the EWU game that the Sioux Lover used to stir the pot. EWU won fair and square, the refs are part of the game, just like the weather, coaching, and player particiaption. Sioux Lover is a poser that came on the scene in 2003 after the Bison beat the Griz. No Bison fan has ever seen or met Sioux Lover.

I have a lot of respect for EWU's championship last year and their football program.

Imagine how this board would have blown up if this was a UM/GSU matchup...instead, we're stuck with two fanbases that don't give a **** and there's a grand total of ONE thread about this game 3 days before gameday.

Exhibit A: One site has a Sioux Lover and not much ado about the championship, the other doesn't and has many threads on the game and no Sioux Lover.

Bison party is huge. Talked with Phil Hason, got the keys to the game but wont reveal them here. Some Bison fans are pretty much a holes, a couple have checked in here, some are great! The majority are unknown to me. Go BISON!
