Sac State - 323 yards
EWU - 353 yards
Cal Poly - 153 yards
NAU - 458 yards
Portland State 325 yards
UC Davis - 362 yards

Sac's passing yardage is the 2nd lowest we've given up all year.

Poor Swink... his guy was open all day - he could not cover anybody - whoever they put him on got open... Running backs tight ends wide outs - everybody

When sac was in 2 deep they moved one safety out wide and down to double Mariani - all this did was make it possible to run to Mariani's side because the safety was back peddling on the snap...this left them with only one safety for run support all day...

not good...
- Big 10 Football - So boring Wisconsin is our most exciting team...
- Big 10 Football - Where 117th ranked Purdue is dominant...
- Big 10 Football - Where team speed and passing offense are not required...

Swink's guy is ALWAYS open. Has been for years. I've never understood Griz fans' fascination with the guy....he's a below average cover corner at BEST.

Who is facinated with him AZ? I don't see anyone that is putting him up as a great cover guy.

Just imagine what NAU could do NOW that the NAU offense is really jelling.

Why do you think he plays AZ? I'll throw my two in on this. I think he plays cuz we are weak there right now. We have freshman & sophomores that are backing his spot up and right now Paulson thinks that he is the best bet we have right there. We were forced into playing the younger guys yesterday and came out with the win and got to cover up that weakness with some offense while trying to bolster the position. Who would you have playing in his stead right now?

He also plays because he can HIT for a little guy...
No he's not great in one-on-one coverage but he's tough to block out when a wide out tries to block him and he tackles running backs that have 30 & 40 pounds on him...

that goes a long way towards starting in my book (but nobody cares about my book)

I care a little bit about your book. I was gonna add that he is normally a pretty sure tackler and makes some great open field tackles in the run game and can fight off a block to get there.

One thing Montana will need to get "figured out" on defense is that little swing pass in the flats that went for 10 yards every time - SAC ST used wide outs in motion tight ends in motion and running back in motion on that play and it worked virtually every time (other than the bad throws)

curious who goes to school on that (WEBER..!!!) it needs to be addressed STAT on D
